Cozy spot near the lake and dam. There’s a night market open some nights (Saturday at least) across the street. Great, friendly staff.

We booked the hotel as an overnight stop over on our way to Khao Sok national park due to it being close to the pier from where the boats leave. The hotel has a rustic feel and is in the countryside although close to the town. The restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast has fantastic views across the woodlands and to the distant mountains.
The room although small was as expected and equipped with a fridge. We were staying in an older unit which had a covered patio complete with a hammock to relax in. The hammock was great and I spent time in it watching a tropical rainstorm unfold in the distance.
The hotel does not have a pool or gym but this was not something we needed for our stay. The local 7-11 is a 10 minute walk and is quite a large one and well stocked with everything you might need. The restaurant had a small menu but something for everyone and the food was cooked fresh and was very tasty. My daughter is a vegetarian and was happy with her choices.
The hotel staff were very helpful and for a small charge dropped us off at the pier for our boat the next day.
I left my headphones in our room and thought that would be the last I saw of them, but the hotel let us know and kept them for us to collect on our way back to Bangkok.
The mattress in our room was very firm. Although not to our taste others might prefer a hard mattress. I understand from my daughter who is travelling through Asia that a lot of hotels have very firm mattresses. So if this is not for you check reviews for mattresses before you book.

Location was good for the lake trip we had booked. Staff were very according and arranged a late breakfast for us.

Beautiful property, good area to go if you’re interested to see Khao Sok National Park. Staff very attentive, friendly and accommodating.
Beds were rock hard very uncomfortable, hard to sleep. Lots of dogs around the property which were friendly but also kept us up barking late at night. Lights flickered when the shower was on and power went out a couple of times. Also very remote location, no Grab or taxi service unless you reserve through the hotel specifically.
