I arrived in the middle of the night. The night receptionist I encountered was just amazing!
There was a misunderstanding with my room, as I took an offer from Booking for a room with a bathtub, and I was very much looking for it, but the room I got had a shower. The receptionist made sure -remember, its the middle of the night- within minutes to offer me exactly what I wanted! Also, compliments: he is a very empathetic man, has asked me if i needed food, and offered me a few bottles of cold water when I was looking to go buy some.
The room was crispy clean, the tub was big and had a Jacuzzi! I spent a few hours in it, and i was grateful for the possibility to have a smoking-allowed room!
The cleaning ladies were extremely helpful with little things I never even asked.
I could communicate with everybody in English and/or gestures!
Overall, I had a great experience; I will definitely try to book at this hotel again when I am looking for a stay in Izmir.
one tiny thing... the refrigerator in the room was out of power when i was out, very understandable for anything else in the room. With 36 degrees when i was there i would love to have something cold or frozen coming back in.

Location was great, walking distance to main attractions. Few local supermarkets around (quite small and with limited choice of food/drinks, though. Found Migros better than BIM or SOK). Kebabs places open till late along the street.
Modern room decor, bathroom nice and clean. Enjoyed the simple, but tasty breakfast. The restaurant staff and hotel personel was nice, helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Internet singal was poor on the 6th floor. The fridge was barely working/cooling. No coffee in the room (only tea)
