The private onsen were beautiful, clean, and quiet which provided us a nice space to spend time together. Staff made a great effort to communicate with us in English and to give us everything we might need for our stay
We expected futons and floor seating which was all fine, but we weren't expecting traditional Japanese pillows which were a little hard on our necks with no alternative but to roll up a spare duvet

部屋食でゆっくりお食事ができました。金目鯛の煮付けやイカの三升漬け、社長手作りのお漬物、大浴場に用意された温泉水で作ったオリジナル石鹸など、お宿独自の創意工夫を随所に感じました。何より、中居さんが外国人の方だったのですがお料理を上げ下げする際や襖の開け閉め、三つ指をついた美しいお辞儀、その美しい所作とおもてなしに感嘆しました。
一点だけ気になったのは、貸切露天風呂の桶がちょっと使いたくない感じで汚かったことです。それ以外は本当に快適でした。
