The location is amazing. Black out curtains were great, we slept till noon :) They had different kind of pillows which is important for people like me who have neck issues. Breakfast was varied and fulfilling.

Location, breakfast and afternoon drinks were great. Pillow menu and pyjamas to loan as well as lots of little free toiletries and the Onsen were all bonuses.
Rooms are small, but well designed. Just be prepared!

This was one of the best hotel I have ever visited! It located comfortably near Kawaramachi station, very close to famous Nishiki market. The main attraction of the city is in the walkable distance.
Hotel has amazing service, the staff is super friendly and helping with any needs and questions. They have free drinks at the bar, free hot bath, washing machines, amazing selections of pillows for your choice and amenities, and many other cool things!The breakfast was always delicious with variety of different food.
The room is also extremely comfortable and have everything what you need for your stay. I spend there a week and I am sure that I will book this hotel next time I visit Kyoto.
The only one annoying thing was that some people were leaving their clothes in the washing machines for hours after the washing cycle is finished. But I am not sure that staff can somehow control this. Also it would be nice to have some snacks in the vending machine.

Staff were friendly and always happy to provide assistance, rooms were very clean and breakfast was healthy and delicious. The onsen and happy hour nibbles and drinks were a highlight of our stay. The location was perfect, a short walk to nishiki market, train station and main shopping streets.
