We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is newly built and has a luxurious feel, like a smaller version of a high-end hotel. The location is great, only about a 10-minute walk from Gion. The hotel always smelled wonderful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated having fresh towels and water every day, as well as the good variety of amenities provided. Breakfast was good. The laundry room was also very convenient, especially for a longer stay. Overall, a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere, excellent location, and thoughtful amenities. We would happily stay here again.
The only downside was that the room was cleaned only once during our 5-night stay. We would have preferred daily or at least every-other-day cleaning.
