About this bed and breakfast
This is a unique historic tower-house located right ant the entry of the Kasbah of Tanger at its ancient medina, with a sea view from its two rooms. Which is superb from is private terrace and cozy "minzah". The tower of the poet at L'air de Tanger it has just been renovated, respecting its ancient architecture and flavor, incorporating original ancient pieces of islamic art, and provided with commodities and comfort to enjoy a relaxing retreat. WIFI connection is totally free, day cleaning it is included in the price, and you will be able enjoy other extra services as daily served breakfast, or massage, if you wish.

We felt like we were whisked back in history. Beautiful view of the city from the roof top patio. The host was the best ever. He arraigned for a taxi to pick us up from the ferry, a tour guide in the city, and a trip to Chefchoauen and the Caves of Hercules. He also served us tea when we arrived and prepared a full breakfast each morning. You do need to be able to climb stairs as the apartment is located on three floors.

This beautiful small house has a timelessness that we loved. The turquoise tiles and walls and the simple Moroccan furniture and decorations reflected the Kasbah where we were situated. The views from the tiled terrace were breathtaking from our elevated position overlooking the harbour. The stairs are steep inside the house but we did not mind. Communication with Juan was easy although he does not live in Tangiers but the young men who met us on arrival were enthusiastic and informative. They had made mint tea and provided pastries for us on arrival ; a special touch.
