Victoria, a fabulous host who gave us a very thorough run through of Valencia. Quaint accommodation that had what we needed.

Great value, location

Excellent host, communication and location. Quiet neighborhood, close to beach and tourist bus stop. Clean, comfortable unit. Only downside is very steep and narrow stairway to 2nd floor, so if heavy bags, make sure you have strength to carry up.

Exceptional

Victoria was incredibly friendly and helped us with some suggestions for dinner and transport links.

The location was a bit of a distance from the old town, but the transport links are great, and the area was beautiful, quiet (with a lot of local bars and eateries) and really close to the sea and marina.

Would defiantly return but not in July it was a bit to warm for us! However would recommend

Loved the area (very Spanish )nice tapas bars everywhere. I would say avoid the ones on the beach they seem to be better nearer to the apartment also download QR scanner on your mobile it made life a lot easier

Stairs to property are quite steep but manageable. Once inside worth the effort! Property was clean and every thing seemed in order. Ceiling fans and air con a bonus

Victoria’s apartment is in a very cute little area near the beach. The place stayed cool during the hot days and had great facilities, including two bikes we could hire to explore Valencia. Victoria gave us lots of great tips of local food and bars to try!

Horrible cave that spoiled our stay in Valencia!

Good location fairly close to the beach. There was a washing machine in there so very convenient. The host is very nice and she recommended many nice restaurants located near by.

The property is basically a poorly ventilated cave that offers no natural light. There’s a really bad damp problem that is trying to be covered up many air fresheners. There were drain flies everywhere that we had to kill every day. I’m really disappointed in this place. I would never stay there again, even for FREE! This place really is in need of damp proofing and refurbishing before being offered to anymore travellers. Also there was a lot of noise coming from the other apartment upstairs. (Footsteps, tv and washing machine sounds) In the bathroom the wooden hangers were covered in mould and there was a constant smell of damp. The sofa bed wasn’t particularly comfortable.

Make sure you don't select a parter floor apt. The one with terrace should be ok.

Great host, very good communication, good english, which is really rare for Spain typically. Nice localization not far from Malvarrossa beach, grocery stores and cafes nearby. Bicycles were a nice option.

Beware there are 2 apartments in this offer, one on the parter (with bicycles) and another one on the next two floors with a terrace. Please make sure you read that clearly and never ever select the parter floor (since the photos in booking.com are misleading and are mixed for those two apartments). Cons: awful soundproof (you literally hear every step from your neighbours above amplified several times), dark (no windows), humid with no air ventilation. Feels like in a cave.

Great spot and great host

We were greeted warmly and given really excellent information on navigating Valencia, local customs, parking, restaurants, bars and public transport. The place is nice and clean, and it was a very convenient and relaxing part of the city to be staying. Wifi was fast

Exceptional

The host Victoria was very kind and helpful, she showed us all what to see,do, eat in Valencia. The apartment was nice, the bikes are free but you have to pay the deposit 200€, so bring cash.

Clean, location near the beach and marina, with AC, comfortable, near the public transportation.

Found 1 cockroach. There are too many in the area cabanyal. Bad smell when it rains in the area.
