Funktionale, sehr gut gelegene Wohnung. Perfekt für einen Kurztrip.

Sehr gute Lage mit guten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Laufweite. Sehr freundliches, gut ansprechbar Personal. Großzügige Wohnung mit Küchenzeile.

Die Dusche ist in die Jahre gekommen (Stockflecken in den Dichtungen und Fugen, Abfluss sehr langsam, Armatur funktioniert nur manchmal). Reinigung könnte sorgfältiger sein (unter dem Bett und in der Dusche waren noch Hinterlassenschaften vorheriger Bewohner zu finden, Küchenutensilien teilweise noch verschmutzt). Das Raumduftspray sollte besser dosiert werden, ein entsprechender Hinweis an das Personal wurde umgehend umgesetzt (positiv!)

Awesome Flat with some room for improvement

Be Mate Casa Di Bava is a an entire building managed by a Spanish hotel chain. We booked partly due to location (downtown Istanbul in the better part of the downtown) and partly due to my previous experience with Room Mate (parent company of Be Mate). The location is walking distance to the best bars, restaurants and shops of Istanbul, however, tricky to reach by car - it tends to get busy in rush hours and one can spend considerable time in traffic. The hosts did share check-in information in advance, and when we checked in, all the apartments (we booked 2) were ready for us. The flat was clean, well-equipped and featured fully stocked kitchen (incl. dishwasher with tablets and washing machine with some stock of washing pads) as well as fully stocked bathroom (incl. hair dryer). There was daily cleaning and replenishment in the apartment. The hosts were always available for assistance, and we felt absolutely confident that if there was an issue, it would be solved rapidly. All in all, it was a very good experience and we would recommend staying at Be Mate to our friends.

The check-in process was a little disturbed due to malfunction of one of the doors - we had to reach out to support via WhatsApp (which worked perfectly btw) and get the access code to the key storage on ground floor to get the physical keys. I suggest that if you stay in apt. 5, you do get the access code for the key storage as soon as you get check-in info. WiFi could have been better - could be function of location of the router - thus, pick this apartment for a holiday stay and not when you have to work remotely. Soundproof isn't ideal - Istanbul is unreasonably noisy, and you do hear it.

Superb location. This is probably the best option around for its money, totally recommended.

Superb location – walking distance from pretty much everything. Probably the best (by far) area in Instanbul. Dozens of fabulous spots for any occasion around within 5 min walk. Very spacious and clean rooms. Exceptional value for money. The property management folks are extremely helpful and provided easy to follow instruction. This is probably the best option around for its money, totally recommended.

The building is fairly old, and although rooms and interiors are renovated, the humidity and other side-effects of leaving in a piece of history are in place, too – nothing to be worried about, but it may be noticeable during the evening time. Our unit might have needed some extra love to get to clean 10/10 grade – there were minor scratches here and there, the AC is a bit rusty too. Curtains and shelves were a bit dusty. Wi-Fi wasn't that good too, tbh. But all these things are very minor and don't impact the experience.

Exceptional

If I could give 20 points, I would give them. Absolutely amazing apartment! 5 min to Istiklal (walking street), 5 min to tram-bus which goes to Saint Sofia and the rest main attractions. All the nightlife and day-needs are very close to the apt, but here is quite and comfortable. Inside the apt - very stylish and high-quality. Bed, shower, towels, furniture, kitchen - everything is just perfect. And last, but the least, an amazing host - Tammam! Very professional, welcoming and nice. I definitely going to stay here again!

It’s always good to pay less for the best, but this apt costs every cent.

Amazing family stay!

This was my second time staying here and everything was perfect from location to comfort and cleanliness. Staff was extremely helpful. We asked for airport transfer and staff did it just in minutes.

A great apartment to stay in Istanbul

The apartment is maintained to a very high standard. The staff is available and pleasant. Assists with any request or question. Location very close to Istiklal Street. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary needs. The apartment is cleaned every day. Change of sheets and towels on a daily basis. Underfloor heating in the shower.

Great Stay !

Everything basically was so smooth,the staff is so responding, friendly, good vibes , he is just there for everything anytime Rooms beds shower and balcony are Superb !!! Close to everything if u like to walk , nearby really hot spots , warm rooms , no noise at night , privacy to maximum levels ! Just wow

Taxis are a bit problematic at this spot if u order , the best way to catch one , just stand in front of the main big door 🫴 trick that toke me days to get lol

Superb

The house Is placed in a confortabile position, right in the middle of a very pleasant section of Beyoglu. From there, public transportation Is within 5 Min on foot, and will bring you anywhere. The house itself and the apartment where we were hosted (this time n7 on the 2nd floor, in 2018 same APT on 3rd floor) are a nice, elegant Place to stay, You feel well in there. The Cukurkuma hammam in the courtyard Is excellent, and I would definitely recommend. Book in due Advance. If I go to Istanbul, I will try to stay there once again.

Beautiful stay in Istanbul

it is a lovely property located a street away from Istiklal street. It is a 15-20 min walk to Galata . The nearest tram station is Tophane which is a 10 min walk . We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe apartment with a small balcony . The apartment was extremely clean and bright . There is a kitchenette, a washing machine and a dishwasher too . There was daily cleaning . There was a nice bag with tea / coffee / biscuit/ oil/ mayo … Mehmat the manager was very friendly and he lent us the Istanbul Kart which proved to be very useful. we topped it up and used it and returned it on the day we checked out . The apartment building has an elevator which is very useful. There are lots of cafe s close by . We loved the Ara cafe which was just odd the Istiklal street . They had good options for vegetarians. We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay !

There was nothing not to like … but maybe there could be a kitchen towel and some paper napkins

The penthouse view is excellent it’s like seeing all 4 historic monuments in front of your eye.

Excellent location! The caretaker Mr Muhammad is a very helpful and makes sure we have everything for a comfortable stay. Very well coordinated pick and drop transfer for airport. He is very polite and went a step extra in helping our son hire an electric scooter.appreciate his help . The view is very good on the days we had the penthouse.

lovely and comfortable suit in Cukurcuma

Casa di Bava is kind of apart hotel. Historic building renovated and was really lovely. we booked an apartment with a living room and bedroom. Hotel staff was also very kind and helpful. Almost everything was perfect in our long stay. It’s just a few steps from Galatasaray and 6-7 minutes by walk from Cihangir area.

Amazing Istanbul

Loved the old building made into modern rooms and apartments. Very clean and bright. The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday to a very good standard. Casa Di Bava is right in the heart of the city.. Lots of lovely artisan cafes, cocktail bars, and antique shops.. Nice to be in a neighbourhood with the locals. Access around the city is very easy. Istanbul is such a vibrant city. Amazing trip and we loved our apartment and balcony. I look forward to staying here again.

The sound of cars going by in the small streets around the hotel can be loud - but we managed to sleep really well and coming from a big city it did not bother us. It is such a vibrant, buzzing city.
