About this house rental
Nestled in Port Isaac, this lovely house for $165 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Singing Cottage is a charming place to stay in an extremely peaceful rural setting, yet just a short 7 minute walk into the centre of Port Isaac. Immaculately presented and offering a high standard of accommodation throughout, Singing Cottage features a large spacious lounge with French doors opening up onto its south facing patio and large garden with furniture where you can enjoy eating alfresco or simply relax with a glass of wine. Inside, the lounge offers three comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove, and a large flat screen TV with DVD player. For the occasional rainy day there is also a WII with assorted games, books and a selection of board games. Free unlimited broadband WIFI is also available for guests to use along with a stereo. In the colder months the log burner comes into its own creating a lovely cosy atmosphere - a basket of logs is provided for your use. Alternatively you can just turn up the central heating! Additionally there are lots of maps and guide books to help you plan your stay. The main bedroom has sea glimpses and offers a king size bed and large fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom is extremely spacious with two single beds, with a large fitted wardrobe. There is also a desk/study area available. A travel cot is available which could easily be set up in either bedroom. The third bedroom, with a lovely rural outlook, has a set of bunk beds and freestanding wardrobe. The property has a large kitchen diner offering ample seating for six and is fully equipped with a full size dishwasher, washer drier, fridge freezer, twin oven with induction hob, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a family bathroom with a large heated towel rail and powerful shower over the bath. For your convenience to help you enjoy your stay there are USB charging points around the property. In addition I’m in, beach chairs and beach umbrella are available. Linen and towels are provided and the beds will be made up for your arrival. One well behaved dog is welcome.

Singing Cottage is an outstanding property in the ideal location for exploring the North Cornwall Coast. Perfectly situated, the cottage provides 'a home away from home' and offers a high standard of comfort and amenity in close proximity to the South West Coastal Path. Picture perfect Port Isaac is only a short stroll away and other well known destinations can easily be reached by car in a relatively short time. Carolyn and Clive were superb hosts who went to great lengths to ensure everything ran smoothly during our stay. Thankyou.

The best cottage we have stayed in by a mile. Beautifully equipped and furnished with everything we needed… even down to the beach chairs in the cupboard, coffee, bbq and tools. The location is stunning, quiet and offers hill top views and wonderful sunsets. Will book again

Singing cottage is a beautifully presented house which is very well equipped with everything you will need. We had some lovely welcome supplies, including dog treats for our dog, the owners thought of everything. It is closely located to port Isaac, walkable down a steep hill. We definitely hope to visit again.

Clean spacious wonderful
Singing cottage was our best holiday home so far . It really felt like a home from home. We loved the peace and quiet in this wonderful countryside. Even our 3 teenagers enjoyed the stay with the beaches and coastpaths. Can be highly recommended!

Excellent property
Excellent location just a 10 min walk outside pretty village of Port Isaac. High above the village with views over fields property has everything you could need. Space to park 2 cars is a bonus aswell.

A lovely and very homely cottage, A+++
This cottage has everything you would need and the attention to detail is first class. It really does feel like a home from home. Very clean and spacious with lots of little extras to keep you entertained in the evenings. The welcome treats were a very nice touch and much appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good base to explore the many delights of Cornwall.

Great holiday
We had a fantastic time at the property and had a great holiday, it was wonderful to sit out on the patio in the morning sun with your coffee and watch the cows in the field waiting for the farmer to come and give them breakfast and enjoying the birds singing.
It had even the little extras like the washing up liquid ,dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper little things that you may forget to take with you.
The only thing I would say is that it is a seven minute walk down to Port Isaac but coming back it is a very very steep hill to walk up so if you are not on the more mobile side of walking then it could be a bit hard coming back.

Singing cottage has to be one of the best places my family and I have stayed in. The owners have literally thought of everything you could possibly need for that home away from home feeling. I can’t recommend this accommodation enough!

We spend one week with our three teenagers and our dog in the Singing Cottage and it was wonderful. Every went smoth. The Cottage was the best equipped we ever had. Port Isaac is realy charming and there are a plenty of walk opportunities direct from the cottage.

Fabulous cottage in excelkent location
In normal timex this is a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location,easy walk into port isaac and access to good walks from the door if you have a dog. Although garden is not enclosed, the owner did provide equipment to secure a dog on a long line if required.
Although spotlessly clean, the cottage is not Covid secure. There are lots of knick nacks, books games etc that guests are asked to wipe over if used. Also kitchen crockery etc is not rewashed between guests.

Amazing location
Our 2nd time at Singing cottage and we love it. A brilliant location in the heart of Port Isaac. We loved the coastal paths for walking and running and even had a swim down at the port. The kids love it here too and never moan about walking back at the hill! The cottage is really well equipped and has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable.
It’s definitely a magical place for us and we hope to be back again soon. Thanks Clive!

What a fantastic, extremely well equipped cottage in a perfect location, only a 5 minute walk downhill to Port Isaac harbour. Plenty of walks on the doorstep and only a short drive to some lovely beaches. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook and definitely recommend to others.

Good location and access for coastal walks and into Port Isaac. Back of property has a Southerly aspect and views over farmland. Great local restaurants, but need to book during current covid restrictions.

What a lovely week in a lovely property. All exactly as advertised, brilliantly clean and well equipped. Perfectly situated to walk into Port Isaac (though prepare yourself for the walk back up the hill!) Also a great spot to explore the surrounding area. Can’t fault Singing Cottage at all, it was a lovely peaceful spot to stay and we had a wonderful week away.

Absolutely wonderful cottage, with everything you could ever want and more! All the little touches within the cottage on our arrival were the perfect finishing touch. Clive couldn’t have done anymore as a host, from the moment we enquired about the property to the day we left. We are definitely looking to return in the future!
