Die Herberge 39 liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem nahe der Hauptstraße. Das Schloss / Burg sowie die Innenstadt von Meißen und die S-Bahn sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Die Anzahl der Gästeparkplätze an Wochentagen ist zu wenig, da der Großteil für Büromitarbeiter der Baufirma im Haus reserviert ist. Es fehlt an Küchenutensilien in der Miniküche.

Das Fernsehgerät ließ sich nicht in Betrieb nehmen.

I got a very big room, beds are OK, bathroom bit old fashioned but OK, water boiler is well appreciated

no breakfast offered, I didn't see anybody from the staff, they sent an email with location and code to find the room key. But other guests showed me how it works. The entrance of the hotel is not the mentioned address, you have to walk a couple of streets around to the backside, behind a fuel station ... with your luggage ... :(

Very nice large room, comfortable, very clean, near centrum, I felt there very happy and took rest after long way. My room in first floor made me happy.

Old installation in need of renovation, entrance through a back alley, difficult to find and a bit far from indicated address (walking with a bag). Location not so nice

The location is in a quiet area, 15minutes walking distance to both meissen altstadt and meissen bahnhof. Watercooker is available to make tea/ coffee in the morning, since there’s no bakery nearby. Early check in was possible, I got a messenge in the morning, so that was really nice. The room is really clean and spacious.

I stayed in the top floor, where there’s no access to the wifi.

Not really set up for short stay visitors. There was noone there from the staff when I arrived, and the lady in charge had to drive over when I found her phone number within the building. Room was fine though when I got it.
