About this house rental
Located in Steamboat Springs, this lovely house for $615 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Compliment your perfect Steamboat vacation in our chic, four bedroom Berghaus Lodge South townhome with spanning deck, multiple masters, lounge areas, and fireplaces, private hot tub, and two car garage. Located conveniently a quarter mile away from the Steamboat base and a short shuttle ride to downtown, Berghaus Lodge South is the perfect spot to dig in for a Steamboat Springs escape. Our townhome is spilt over three levels with the heart located on the main level. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms are part of an open floor plan situated under vaulted ceilings. Features in the living room include a large stone gas fireplace and rock laid chimney, flat screen TV and entertainment center, and sprawling leather sectional to sink into after a day of playing hard in the Yampa Valley. Don't forget to visit the wet bar with a stereo system located at the edge of the room. Major meals can be prepped in our fully equipped kitchen with large four burner gas stove and oven, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen also has two sinks and an island that serves as a breakfast bar seating up to four. The main dining table seats up to six and is situated between two windows overlooking the Yampa Valley. The Primary King Suite is located on this level. This suite features a King bed, flat screen TV, and attached bathroom with dual sinks. Surrounding the back side of the entire main level is a massive deck that can be accessed from the living room or main level King Primary Suite. The upper level contains a loft area with a work desk, printer, meeting table, and two more bedrooms. The second bedroom is a suite that has a King bed and is complete with its own lounge with fireplace, private balcony, flat screen TV and leather couch. Additionally, this suite contains an en suite bathroom with dual sinks, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. You're going to want to call dibs! The third bedroom on the upper level also has a King bed, flat screen TV, private bathroom with walk-in shower, and a private balcony with ski area views. The lower level of the home contains the Bunk Room and additional lounge area. The Bunk Room is perfect for the kids with a Twin/Twin bunk bed and a Queen bed. The lower level lounge is another entertainment hub of the home with two large leather sofas hosting one Queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, card gaming table, and access to the private hot tub and backyard. The lower level also has a shared bathroom with walk-in shower and laundry units. We had a great trip to Steamboat Springs! The house was fully equipped and we felt right at home in this cozy mountain house. The location was perfect and it couldn’t have been easier to get to the slopes or in to town. We hope to come back!

Our extended family spent a great week at Berghaus Lodge South over the new year's holiday. The house is beautifully furnished and the bedrooms are gigantic and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with just about any cooking appliance you could ask for and the family room with fireplace and huge TV were great for the college football playoffs. The free purple line bus picks up and drops off literally across the street and at day's end it's no more than a 2-minute ride (we rented a storage cubby from Black Tie for just a few bucks a day and kept our skis and boots there overnight). The house is convenient to a grocery store, drug store, and Walmart for anything that needs to be picked up. It's a duplex but the soundproofing must be great because there was a large group next door and we never heard anyone. Our kids loved the foosball and air hockey tables, and the hot tub was perfect for day's end. The lodging company left a bottle of wine and charcuterie board which was awfully thoughtful but what we really appreciated was when the hot tub wasn't heating up (a tripped breaker, nothing big), we called them and they came out to fix the problem within like 90 minutes. Had a great week (the 3 feet of fresh snow didn't hurt) and would definitely stay again.

We found out the day before our arrival that a National Rental company had cancelled our reservation at another location . We had family arriving from 4 different locations, flight commitments, time off work, and were frantic! We found this beautiful home still available, we were so excited. With Steamboat Lodging you communicate with real people and not computers. They went out of their way to confirm our reservation fast! We were in the next day! Everything was exactly as presented. Home is warm and clean, all the appliances, fireplace, hot tub, kitchen , televisions, and internet work. The bedrooms with private baths provide privacy and comfort. Garage keeps your vehicle protected. The convenience of the Steamboat Lodging shuttle provides door to door convenience to the Mountain, restaurants, Village, and Downtown. We can't help but recommend Berghaus South with the highest ratings.

Great location and home for our large group. Steamboat lodging was very helpful during our stay and quick to respond with any questions. The included steamboat lodging shuttle was very convenient to get us to/from the mountain base and downtown.
The only suggestion would be to have a baby gate or two at the house for any groups with small children. The local steam boat baby rental company didn't have any either which was surprising.
All in all a great stay and would stay at a steamboat lodging home again.

This was a very nice place to spend an extended weekend with family. It was a beautiful home/duplex and extremely comfortable. It had everything we could ask for in a vacation home. It helped that it rained during our stay and cooled down at night so we were able to open the windows and didn't miss not having AC.

Easy Living
We were all very comfortable and content despite the age spreads and varied interests. Access to Steamboat Springs shopping and dining and the surrounding outdoor activities was excellent. The only reason for the less than five star rating for location and neighborhood was due to road construction in the immediate and surrounding area, but just a minor annoyance.

Fantastic Stay
Great property, just as awesome as it looks in the pictures. hot tub was a life saver after a day on the slopes, location is within 2 minutes of the lifts by car, the porch has incredible views, really can't say enough good things about this. Absolutely enhanced our vacation, would highly recommend.

Amazing home in great location!
First I must comment on Steamboat Lodging staff. They were incredible, knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and overall superb. We also appreciated our welcome gifts and note. The house was just as described and had everything you could need. We needed baby items such as pack and play and booster seat (high chair) which were brand new and perfect- just take a sheet. We did not use shuttle or bus service but they were readily available. We were minutes from slopes with fabulous views. The yard was great to play in and the hot tub very refreshing. We used one of the two washer/dryers daily which was very helpful. The only issue we had was pilot light went out on fireplace and they were literally there in minutes to fix it during a snow squall. 2 car garage was nice as we had 2 cars and great ski storage, with 2 sleds for kids play. The playroom was nice with air hockey and foosball. we did not use poker table but played card games at large dining table. Grocery, pharmacy etc all nearby. You will not go wrong if you use this company and choose this house

Everything was great. My only negative, which at the end did not matter, was that my impression from VRBO was that it was a single family home and not a duplex. Also it would be helpfull if the address was on a mailbox or something on the street. Great times. Thank you.

Great family house!
The layout of this house is perfect for family. The basement walkout level has a bedroom for four children and room for them to play in their own space. There are three master suites on the main and upper level. So everyone had their own space as well as a great gathering area on the main floor. We will definitely book this property again. The property is as beautiful as it shows on the listing.!

My step daughter was getting married in Steamboat on 10/10/20. We choose to stay some extra days for rehearsal dinner, and just hanging out with family. We had such a wonderful stay! The place was just beautiful. We will definitely be back to stay again!!

Family Get-away
We are a family of five tall adults and we appreciated the three king beds in 3 of the four guest rooms. Loved having a grill and hot tub! Kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and utensil you could possibly want. Great have a separate wet bar, too. Working through Steamboat vacation rentals was the best company we’ve ever experienced. Great information and very responsive.

Amazing Property
We had such a great stay at this amazing property. The house is beautiful and had a great open concept and bedroom setup for 4 couples and some kids. Plenty of parking at the property and a 10 minute drive to downtown. Steamboat Lodging Company was very attentive and helpful.
