About this house rental
A listed granite barn on a very quiet lane, ten minutes from the sea, beaches, with a wealth of opportunities for walking and cycling on coastal paths, along tranquil lanes, all within minutes of the property.
The listed barn, and owner's house next door, have both been in the family since they were built a hundred years ago. The property has fields on three sides, which continue in agricultural use, mostly hay-making.
Restaurants and supermarket shopping are available close by, and the bus to St Peter Port stops 3 minutes away, at the bottom of the lane.

Felicity and Larry were very welcoming and provided a nice basket of goodies including home made plum jam and fresh baked bread, in the refrigerator there was Guernsey milk, butter and a lovely bottle of wine. The barn has everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, the kitchen was very well equipped and had handy items like cling film and kitchen roll. The lounge was upstairs and was very spacious. There was also an outside seating area. It was a short walk to the bus stop to travel into St Peter Port and a ten minute walk to the local supermarket. Going in the other direction about 10 minutes away there was a garden centre with cafe and near Vale Church was a beach with ice cream kiosk. A nice quiet area with plenty to do in close proximity.

Felicity and Larry were very helpful and have thought of everything to make the property exceptionally comfortable. It was spacious, immaculately clean and in a lovely location for a quieter part of the island. Only 10 mins walk to the beach with beautiful walks and frequent ice cream kiosks. Easy for buses, great location. Betty, the resident cocker spaniel, was generous with her cuddles and absolutely adorable. We hope to return, it was a wonderful stay thank you :-)

Very well equipped property with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Welcoming hosts who were very unobtrusive but were on hand if needed.

host was really helpful. Accommodation was really comfortable with a large living area and equiped with everything you could possibly need. Location was really convenient for easy access to great sandy beaches and great coastal scenery.
