Situated in Wrightsville Beach, this attractive house for $168 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Close your eyes and imagine that you are sitting in a rocking chair under the cover of a spacious wrap around porch gazing out over the beautiful waters of the Intracoastal Waterway as the soft ocean breeze washes over you. "Enoch” is a 3- bedroom, 2- bathroom family home that has been cared for and loved by multiple generations! This treasured home is tastefully updated in a way that highlights the historic charm of this property while blending modern conveniences. There is so much to love about this home – come experience the charm for yourself! The main living area has a perfect way of blending a charming old-fashioned style with tasteful touches that add modern comfort. The living room sports original hardwood floors and ceilings and has been furnished with modern furniture to offer the highest level of comfort. Striking blue hues that accent the wooden walls and ceilings add a warmth that will make you feel right at home. A round dining table is positioned by the sliding glass door and overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway. The galley kitchen is stocked with all the necessary kitchen essentials to assist with your meal prep! There is a hall bathroom that is complete with a dual vanity that serves the nearby guest bedroom on the main level. The primary bedroom is furnished with a double bed and complemented by antique nautical décor. At the top of the stairs, you are greeted by a full bathroom that features a lovely walk-in shower. There is a guest bedroom that offers a double bed and a twin bed. This darling room offers a sitting area, vaulted ceilings and has ample natural light. Across the hall is the third guest bedroom. This room offers two double beds and a twin bed. Sweet coastal touches capture the quaint beach house feel that is sure to capture your heart. Spend warm summer evenings on the private pier soaking in the dazzling sunsets. There is truly not a better vantage point on the island to experience the marine life and boaters. Young children will enjoy playing in the gentle sound waters by the shore and adults and teens will appreciate the swimming platform that is accessed from the pier. Launch kayaks or paddle boards and head out on an adventure that you will remember for years to come! This amazing cottage has been lovingly maintained through the generations and now warmly welcomes you and your family to experience the magic that has captured so many hearts. Occupancy: 10 Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday, Minimum of 2-night stay other seasons. Bedding Configuration: 4 Full, 2 Twin. Parking: Parking allows two cars, one parking spot beside the home, one additional parking spot across the street with parking pass. Garage is not included with the rental. Pet Policy: No pets allowed. Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, Gas and Charcoal Grills, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental. Featured Amenities: Keyless Entry, Dock, Waterfront Gazebo, Sound Front, Duplex. Property Disclosure: This is a family friendly unit in a residential area. There is a year-round tenant in the lower unit. The pier is not boat friendly but can be used for outdoor dining or for swimming access. Bryant Real Estate, established in 1952, is a professionally operated firm that is licensed in North Carolina and hired by the property owner to manage “W206 – Enoch” as a vacation rental.

Enjoyed the historic nature of the property. Be advised not to have anyone up on the porch with a dog. Received a phone call on our last night that a neighbor reported we had dogs “in the house”. Porch yes- house never! My son had come to the beach all day with us and was not staying with us. The charge was already on my card when I hung up the phone. Had to go to the office the next day to make my case and request the charge be reversed. Rental Co. Was very fair and kind and made a plea to the owners. Waited two days to hear that the $900 had been returned. Needless to say- our trip memories were tainted.

Our visit was short but we enjoyed the south end location of the rental. Gorgeous sunset and views of the sound. Quick, easy walk to the beach, Oceanic, surf and coffee shop. My crew enjoyed their winter surfing near the pier. Lots of beds for our kids and their friends. The house is dated but has a lot of character. The only issue we had was with the microwave which was very old and was not functional. Besides replacing the microwave the only suggestion would be a few more starter items for the kitchen such as dish detergent, a Brillo pads and additional wash rags and dish clothes. Maybe a couple trash bags too. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

The cottage is very cute, plenty of beds, with 3 in one room upstairs, and 2 across the hall and a master on the first floor. Bathrooms obviously recently redone very nicely. Generous porch with great view of the Sound and the dock for our use across the street. Being close to beach access made it super easy to take the kids down each day. Not a ton of privacy so be sure to use for a close friends/family experience.

The house overall is nice, a little dated. It has a great pier and dock. Parking is very difficult if you have more than 2 vehicles. I had to pay an extra $125 in parking for one of the people staying at the house so they could park on the street at the meter. I think it should also be disclosed that there is a person that lives un the space under the main house. If you think you are getting the entire house you are not, and you do not have access to the garage. I would opt for a better location and house with more parking.

It was great but I was very dismayed to hear that the person downstairs complained that we were noisy. We are just two families fishing, swimming, and playing cards. I have never had any kind of complaint about us being noisy before. We have stayed at this property in the past. I would have picked a bigger (and more expensive) property but only this one was left. Overall it is adequate with an amazing pier

This cottage was exactly as described. I have nothing but good things to say about the property itself. The cottage was clean and insect-free, and plenty of room for my family. HOWEVER, the downstairs tenant was what made our stay unpleasant. After reporting to the rental company about smoke smells that appeared overnight and permeated the upstairs bedroom and made the whole downstairs smell (older cottages aren't as well insulated), he came up the next evening and complained that we were making too much noise (we are a family - no partying) and then coincidentally a police officer was parked out front of our cottage for an hour or two. It felt like retaliation. I was humiliated and disappointed. If you are looking for a private house, I suggest you look for another rental.

Overall the house was great. Very clean, large bedrooms. Great view of the waterway. Pier and gazebo are new. Only negative is that dock area for boat is very small and climbing down from gazebo area to dock is hazardous; especially at low tide.

Bryant Realty booking was easy with on-line booking, prompt responses to emails, late check-in and early check-out. Loved the retro beach house...the best of the original '40s cottage with modern conveniences, cable, wi-fi. Loved sitting on the porch in rocking chairs watching beautiful sunsets every night. Channel-front with access to a private pier and beach, quick walk to the ocean beach, short drive to outstanding BBQ restaurants, grocery, fresh seafood, and historic sights. Lots to do in nearby Wilmington. Shopping at Cotton Exchange, historic Downtown and port. Only negative was the traffic noise but we will definitely come back.

Home has been updated and bathrooms are very nice. Great use of beds. Be mindful of parking as you can only manage 3 autos--but it is handled well by agency.
Cable issue is huge and we felt misled--homeowner and agency should have appeased us.
