About this cottage rental
The Nutty Bungalow is a space of quiet loveliness... With embroidered linen hanging over silky oak windows and doors.. The outside can truly be relished in the simple comforts and tranquility of this space. The bungalow is comfy and calming.. With luxurious beds it is peaceful and snug. It is a studio style dwelling with a king bed in the big main room where the fireplace is, a separate bedroom with 2 king singles.... one with a standing trundle. Walk to beautiful , quiet beach.... Bath towels are provided...but please bring your own beach towels. If youd like to dye your hair or use tanning creams, please bring your own. An open fire warms this place and wood is provided. A stainless kitchen and new bathroom with claw foot bath with rainwater to bathe in . Stroll past lilly lakes to the quiet beach... Unlimited wifi if you need connection ... SADLY, I have to specify a NO PARTY policy at the Bungalow ... Only guests agreed to be staying there are to be there... Unless by prior discussion with me... Thank you . 5 minutes drive to Urunga, 15 minutes drive to bustling Bellingen , 20 minutes to Coffs Harbour .. ...only 6 kms from the Freeway ... Makes this place easy to find and a great place to stop. Owner lives on the same property… not close. Dogs are welcome if they've been discussed and the dog rules agreed to.. Thank you. Rainwater is not unlimited and has to be brought in by a tanker when we run out. I am having to charge a fee for usage over normal usage. (300L per person per day).. as it’s becoming too costly to buy water to replenish tanks when it’s heavily consumed. Sorry! Paddle boards and push bikes are available to rent for a fee.

A comfortable bungalow on a beautiful property. We enjoyed our 2 night stay as we explored the area. It was a very comfortable place to have our dog with us, we just had to watch for kangaroos that she wasn’t too sure about.
The bungalow had everything we needed and was generally clean and tidy except for a lot of cobwebs and dust around the bed and bed head.
Other than that the bed was comfortable and Hattie had good quality linen for the bed, bathroom and kitchen.
She was a wonderful host who addressed any issue that I might have had immediately. She also suggested some great restaurants to try.
Easy to communicate with a lovely nature.
We would highly staying at the Nutty Bungalow.

Depending on the holiday you are looking for the location was good. We personally found it a little isolated and not really walking distance to a family / pet friendly beach

The bungalow is absolutely wonderful. If you need a short getaway with the desire to rest and relax, this is the place! A private property, set amongst the trees in the peace and quiet, with everything you need and the beach only a few minutes away by car.

Gorgeous little bungalow tucked away on a tranquil property. A great base to explore the area. Hattie was easy to communicate with and fixed a small problem we had quickly. We loved the peace and quiet and listening to the birds in the gorgeous tall trees. Not to mention visits from the local wildlife..frogs, kangaroos and friendly dog. Would love to come back again!

The Nutty Bungalow was a beautiful experience for us. Our little one loved exploring the property, digging around under the beautiful trees. Our family really enjoyed relaxing under the patio, and eating home cooked meals together after using the ample amenities available. I must also mention that there are a few crawly critters who live here too, so if you have a fear of shared spaces with insects then this may not be the right place.

What a stunning property! Beautiful cottage set amongst tall trees and green grass. Total privacy and the perfect place to unwind surrounded by an abundance of bird life and daily visits by local family of kangaroos. Gorgeous white sandy squelchy beaches only a short drive. A lovely quiet property surrounded by tall forest with abundant bird life & kangaroos. A lovely well appointed house and only a 5 minute drive to off leash dog beaches & Urunga town centre. The macadamias were a pleasant surprise & a much appreciated treat.

The Nutty Bungalow was beautiful, the property has everything you need both inside and out. Quiet and secluded location, with nature and wildlife at your doorstep. The beach just minutes away and shops if you need them. The Bungalow is beautifully presented, warm and inviting. Hattie was exceptional to engage with leading up to our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

The Bungalow was the perfect little paradise for our week away. It’s close-ish to the main house but you can easily stay for a week undisturbed. The kitchen has everything you need but the property is reasonably close to town if you find you’re without something. Our whole experience was just beautiful. We stayed the week for our babymoon so I thoroughly enjoyed floating in the gorgeous tub and having slow mornings with sunshine streaming in while my husband prodded the fire.

Stayed for 2 nights in the bungalow for surprise birthday trip with my boyfriend and our friend.
Communicating with Hattie was really easy and effortless. She explained to me things that's available/unavailable before confirming my booking, then provided me with clear check in details before my trip.
Even though we arrived late night, it was easy to check in, the light was already on (small things but thoughtful, we appreciate it!)
The place was clean and beautiful. Comfy and clean beds, we had peaceful sleep. My boyfriend enjoyed the fireplace so much, and the TV has Netflix. Couldn't ask for more.
Unfortunately we couldn't really explore the area around bungalow as we had more activities in Coffs Harbour, but overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent property to just chill. So quiet. Beautiful outlook from the cottage across to bushland and the grazing kangaroos. Awesome wet room style bathroom with claw foot bath tub and rain shower. Big comfy king bed in the living room and a lovely large smart tv. Well appointed stainless steel kitchen with gas cooker. There is nothing that is overlooked at The Nutty Bungalow. Hattie the host is easy to communicate with and happy to accommodate. We hope to return one day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even the dogs loved it.

Hattie is a great host! Nothing was a problem! We have stayed here about 6 years ago prior to us having kids so it was great to be able to take our kids and show them this beautiful place! If you have a 4x4 I recommend you pack some gear for beach driving as the beach access is not far from the property driveway! We had a lovely time and stay we cannot wait to go back
