Situated in Torch Lake, this attractive house for $175 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Located in 9 acres of woods. 1 large master bedroom with queen size bed and full bathroom (tub/shower combo). Very large loft with 1 queen and 1 full size beds and full bathroom (stand up shower). Large kitchen with island, all appliances, pots and pans, utensils, glasses, mugs and table settings. Kitchen table seats 6 and has bench seating. Big walk in pantry. Separate Laundry Room. Extra Large deck with chairs and table to sit, relax and enjoy. Creek runs through property. Outside fire pit for cozy campfires. Short walking distance through the woods to view beautiful Torch Lake. Close to Charlevoix, Petoskey, Elk Rapids and Traverse City. The public boat launch and beach access just 1.5 miles away in Eastport! Barnes Park/Lake Michigan only 2.5 miles away!

We loved this property! Location was very central to our drop offs for Paddle Antrim. Will definitely be booking it for next year!!

I was so impressed with the beauty of the surroundings with this cabin. There are huge windows which let in the light and showcase the amazing view. There are trails all throughout the property with little surprises on the trunks of trees. It eventually leads to a stream. The privacy was extremely nice. We had coffee in the morning while listening to the birds. Binoculars were supplied , such a thoughtful touch!
Everything we needed was provided from a very large pantry in the home.
What a thoughtfully kind host!!
It’s within driving distance to anything we wanted to see.
The only thing I noticed was some dust but I think it’s impossible to prevent with a home that may sit for long periods of time.
We will be back!!

Wanted a place to stay between Traverse City and Mackinaw City, and we found it!!! A wonderful place nestled in the woods. Clean and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Loretta met me at the cabin upon arrival and showed me around the house. She was very nice and the house was Extremely clean and well kept up! She had some treats for my dog, smores fixin's and a nice bottle of wine for me! There was everything I needed for my stay.
Loretta had made the house very "cozy" and I felt very comfortable there. It was very secluded in the woods and relaxing, even saw a deer one morning.
I would definitely stay here again.

Cabin in the woods. This was a great little retreat for our family of 3. Our daughter LOVED her little 'apartment' in the loft and the very thoughtful goodies left by the hosts for her. It was a great location to where my brother's family was staying on Torch.

Wonderful setting with all the extras provided to enjoy it fully! Very well thought out with the games provided and makings for s’mores with a prepared fire pit. Sweet welcome package and easy check in- fantastic hosts!Definitely recommend!

The hosts were great and left us some welcome gifts on arrival. We enjoyed the large fire pit and making S’mores. The cabin was well stocked with everyday necessities. Many things to do less than an hours drive. There were a few things in the cabin needing minor repair and updating but those did not impact our experience.

Relaxing with everything you need
We enjoyed the cabin and thought it was a great location. Loved the peaceful wooded setting. The owner left little gifts which was very nice. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The bed was comfortable. Short drive to launch boat, and Torch Cafe short distance away. We were hoping for better weather but we did get two sunny afternoons. Elk Rapids has a cute little town with shops within 20 min, and Traverse City is only 30 minutes away.

Adorable cabin near Torch Lake!
Wonderful dog friendly property, with all necessities available, plus a welcome package of wine, smores stuff for the kids, even treats for our dogs! We had a lovely time in our wooded hide away.

Peaceful stay
We enjoyed our vacation at Burch Hill - the house was clean and comfortable and the surroundings peaceful. Was fun to watch the birds and squirrels at the feeders from the deck outside or from inside through the many windows. Deer visited the yard in the early mornings and we enjoyed s'mores by the campfire in the evening. The location was perfect for exploring the many great hiking and nature trails in the area.

Wonderful glamping spot!
Great place to stay! Close to all of the things we wanted to check out: swimming in Lake Michigan, Charlevoix, Torch Lake. The secluded lot was very peaceful and our dog loved it :)

well stocked home = perfect for a single family
listing was accurate as far as amenities; it was easy to find and we felt safe; location was central to activities we did at Torch Lake, Elk Rapids, Sleeping Bear Dunes, & Traverse City; house was better stocked than any other rental we have stayed at such as hand soap in the bathrooms, dish soap in the kitchen, plastic wrap & sandwich bags, trash bags... - it seemed more like staying with a friend as the closets with supplies were not locked which was very nice; owners greeted us upon arrival and explained the house which was a little awkward, but intentions were good; we would stay there again if in the area

Birch Hill Cabin in the woods!
Very peaceful, quiet setting in the Torch Lake area, yet conveniences were nearby. Birch Hill Cabin had all the necessities for an extended stay. The Cabin was very clean and ready upon our arrival, and Melinda and her sister-in-law Loretta were there to welcome us and show us around. Felt at home immediately! Great cabin and great hosts! We would definitely recommend!

Hidden Gem
Wonderful cabin in a beautiful wooded setting but close to many up north destinations. Very clean and equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need.
Melinda and Loretta welcomed us with a surprise gift basket, including treats for our dog. Easy check in and out.
Looking for a place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, Burch Hill Cabin is for you.

Michigan Visit
Great location by Torch Lake, very nice cabin!! The only downside of this property is that the land was logged and wasn't cleared away. So, there is a lot of downed tree limbs and other scrub which detracts from the beauty of the location.

Mostly Pleasant Stay
We felt very much at home in this cabin. It had almost everything we needed to be comfortable. Beautiful location in the woods and very quiet. Owners extremely friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the sleeping arrangements and furniture as a whole. Cabin does not sleep 5 unless 3 of those are small children (and someone doesn't mind sleeping on a couch). My daughter and her friend are 11 and they could not sleep together on the bed in the loft. Furniture was old and stained. I don't expect brand new furniture but I do want it to be clean and comfortable.

Lovely and private location near everything
This cottage is nestled in the woods and super close to Torch Lake. It is easy to get to lots of Northwest Michigan fun like TC, Petoskey, Charlevoix, and the dunes. It was clean, comfortable and Melinda and Loretta were so welcoming. We loved it and will be back.
