Communication was fantastic and instructions were clear and helpful.
The room was comfortable and although it’s a 25 minute bus ride from Brighton, easy to find and free parking nearby.
No problem with a shared bathroom for a short stay but could do with a bit of updating.

I liked that it felt secure because of the locking system on the main door. The room had a small fridge which was handy.
Also, the shower had good water pressure and easy temperature adjustment. The towels were lovely and soft too. Handy to have a seperate toilet, as well as another toilet and a bidet in the shower room.
There was free WiFi!!
It was a great location for our concert at Hove Park. Only about 5 minutes in a taxi.
It was disappointing that the bed was definitely smaller than a double, so very snug for 2 people to sleep in. It wasn't depicted or described as such and the room was definitely big enough to fit a full size double in it. The TV in the room was small too. There were no plug sockets near one side of the bed. The room decor was odd. A huge blank wall with nothing on it but a small ironing board and iron hanging up. Then, a random small, low box type thing on wheels with the kettle and tea on it.
The mirror was above the sink, directly opposite the bed, so having a chair beside the sink, in front of the TV to use as a kind of desk/vanity area didn't really work. The empty wall could have been used better for something like that. There was definitely space to rearrange the furniture a little better. There were 2 chairs and a table in the bay window area which didn't really need to be there because you couldn't really sit and eat there, as the table was so low. People would be able to look in and see you sitting/eating there, as the windows in our room were directly facing the road. Some kind of netting or misting would be nice when the curtains are open to get some natural light but still provide privacy. The main light in the room didn't switch on.
The shower could have done with a deep clean and some repairs. Also, a few sections of the vertical blinds were missing, probably not the best kind of blinds for a bathroom/toilet. The paper hand towels weren't replaced in the toilet room. My friend also said that when she used the toilet in the little room when it was dark, she felt a bit uncomfortable because the window faces the house next door and, although it's misted, she was worried they could see her or perhaps a silhouette as she was about to sit down on the loo.
