Exceptional

Very comfortable for a family holiday. The host even provided us with 2 cribs. There is a washing/drying machine in the apartment that is super helpful when you travel with small kids. The homemade jams left for us were delicious.

A clean, equipped and central Value-for-money option

We liked the fact that the apartment has two separate rooms, which is ideal for a group of friends or two couples or a family. The location is also ideal, in the city centre but also close to the port and/or central bus station (around 10-15 min walk from each). The best thing about the apartment is the fact that there is a washing machine, which also serves as a dryer and the lovely hostess provides you with all the essentials of a complete household (towels, detergents, hygiene products, an iron etc. and even small things for breakfast and coffee).

The neighborhood is very central and can look old with a few abandoned houses etc but that is the case for a lot of the parts of the city. It can also be noisy with the windows open. But if you keep them closed, there is no issue for a good night's sleep. The second room (with the double bed) could feel rather warm and humid without air conditioning at night.

Great host, great apartment, great location!

Centrally located, the apartment is very convenient for visiting the region and the city centre, we could explore the old town by foot. Chrysanthi came to welcome us and had prepared food and sandwiches for us. There even was wine and jam prepared by herself! The apartment has all the necessary equipment perfect for a family of four. Parking was also easy. We had the chance to park just in front of the door during all our stay.

Вe were greeted by an extremely smiling and pleasant lady, very welcoming and trying to make you feel at home :) serving some foods in the fridge - homemade :). Great location - in the downtown close to pretty much all attractions.

it was in a great location one block from City Center. Apartment was clean and comfortable and even had a washer/dryer. Host was friendly and extremely helpful; she even left us homemade muffins, wine and fruit from her garden. she was accessible and answered all of our questions.

Excellent and comfortable stay

The owner of the apartment meets us at the apartment and explains (or describes) all facilities before handing us the key. The owner provides us many fruits grown from her garden and homemade wine & cakes when we arrive at her apartment. The owner is very friendly. The location of the apartment is excellent and you can easily walk to many tourist attractions & lively restaurants. There is a supermarket nearby ( 2 minute walk) if you want to do some cooking at the apartment.

Met by the owner on arrival. In the fridge there was water , fruit, homemade wine.

Location excellent. Owner very nice and helpful and couldn't do enough for us and answered every query we had. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Chrysanthi was an excellent host. Modern well kept very clean apartment

Is centrally located for loads restaurants and bars museums etc.

Had an injured leg so walking footpaths was difficult. Not fault of apartment. City Council problem.

Friendly host, spacious room with all facilities.

The apartment is spacious, very close to the city center as well as the sea side. I booked it mainly for catching the ship but quite satisfied with the extra it gives. Very friendly host too.

Not very easy for parking if you are driving.

We'd be happy to return to this apartment.

This apartment is really well located in relation to downtown Heraklion. We walked to everything we needed in the city, and it is also a good location for the bus station, about 12 minutes walk. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Chrysanthi was a welcoming host who stocked the larder with all the essentials - fruit, bread & coffee.

The apartment is located on a central city street, which was occasionally noisy. There is no view or anywhere to sit outdoors - but we knew this when we booked so we can't claim to be disappointed by these limitations, which were well compensated for by proximity and ease of access.

It was a good place to stay for a short trip

Excellent location, clean, well stocked, nicely remodeled, nice personal touches and spacious bath.

Noise, parking, and bed size. Every night extremely loud cars with music blasting and motorcycles revving their engines. Parking spot was on property but not mentioned in booking and cost is high as it is negotiated after arriving. Bed is advertised as queen size in listing but is actually only a double.

Excellent apartment for a family in central Irakleo

Very central, super clean, very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. The host welcomed us very warmly with fresh fruit from her garden and homemade wine and jams. Highly recommend this apartment

Central location is noisy, but it's quiet enough if you close all the windows.

The apartment is very well equipped! There is everything you need. Inclusive dishwasher. The equipment of the kitchen was very satisfying. Beds are confortable and the location is perfect to visit Heraklion. The flat was very clean and the owner was fantastic.

The bathroom is not huge.
