A well positioned hotel in a style sympathetic to the area of the town.

The hotel is well located, in amongst the old section of the town. The facilities were very good. The breakfast and evening cocktails were enjoyable. They provided a good service to get us back to the station at the end of our stay.

Great stay

Really nice modern hotel so close to everything in Takayama. Room was very spacious and clean, nice hot shower and free sake tasting was a plus! On-site onsen was small but nice as were the provided amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

No towels provided for the onsen (the entrance of which I found a bit uncomfortably close and open to the dining area), you had to use the small one provided in the room. Bed was on the harder side but normal for Japan!

Great stay in Takayama!

This was a very nice hotel very close to everything. We enjoyed the nightly free happy hour and onsen.Our room was spacious and clean.

The beds were not comfortable. I would have enjoyed a window to see out.The room felt a little closed in.

Loved the hotel and the town. Perfect location to explore old town.

. Free drinks in evenings was great. Laundry great. Staff were all brilliant. We lost some bags at train station. They went to a lot of trouble phoning around and eventually found them at police station, then one staff member who was exceptional and spoke really good English, drove me all the way to police station to pick up.

we weren't crazy about the Japanese breakfast as only choice. No complaints

Lovely hotel in Takayama

This hotel located right in the middle of Takayama old town with 1 min walk to family mart. Hotel facilities and ambience is absolutely beautiful and offered free flow sake and ice cream. I wish I stayed a day longer. Staff are lovely and helpful.

The distance from Takayama station is a bit far by foot if you’re carrying more than 1 luggage but so far no issues for me.

Exceptional staff and customer service with a great location only steps away from historic centre of Takayama s away

The staff were amazing. The best customer service we have received in 15 days f travelling in Japan. Perfect location right in the centre of historic Takayama town. The public bath was large enough very clean and a pleasure to use.

The beds mattresses were a tad hard and a bit uncomfortable the pillows were too soft and uncomfortable the common area furnishings were a bit office cafeteria like and not conducive to socialising or very inviting and not very comfortable although there was one set of 4 sofas with a round coffee table that one hits the mark

Fantastico hotel nel cuore della città vecchia di Takayama

Struttura dallo stile particolare, con molto legno sia nelle zone comuni che nelle stanze. Offrono anche il sevizio di onsen, dove ho potuto accedere nonostante il gran numero di tatuaggi che ho.

Convenient location

Location and free flow beverages in the evening for guests to chillax at the lobby. Family mart is just next door. A restaurant for sukiyaki/grill is opposite closed at 8pm.

If probably can prepare some towels before the onsen area instead taking from in-room towels.

We would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The location was great, and all places we wanted to go in Takayama were within easy walking distance. The room was quiet and comfortable; we got a good night's rest. The hotel is relatively new so it was very clean. My partner loved the breakfast.

The toilet was located just outside the shower room, and it was a little irritating that the automatic toilet lid kept opening at the slightest movement, closing, opening, closing repeatedly.

Takayama, relax, storia e buon cibo

Posizione ottima, raggiungibile dalla stazione a piedi e fuori dal caos delle vicine vie storiche. Stanze ampie e accoglienti, ofuro/bagno caldo all'interno della struttura rilassante, sala comune grande e particolare. La scelta di non avere il televisore chiude il cerchio per un soggiorno di relax.

Nice stay / Attention only Japanese style breakfast available

The hotel personal was very nice. There English was good as well. I liked the free drinks and the sake testing on the evening. Rooms had a good size for Japanese hotels.

Nicely decorated room, great shower, excellent location very close to the main attractions in Takayama, hot pool facility, friendly staff, free evening drink

Very hard mattress, was uncomfortable, breakfast looked great but there wasn't any selection, you get what you're given

Modern and spacious hotel with excellent location. Very good value for money

Location is excellent. Mattresses on tatami floor a little hard but otherwise rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

We have a pleasant stay.

Location is good except that it is slightly far from the train station. We like the free selection of drinks given esp the sake and the room is spacious and clean with good view.

Better than what we expected in many ways , esp the complimentary happy hour every night !

Love the zen feel structure and layout of room is good

There isn’t a block out curtain to block out the sunlight in the morning . Also a bit dark for reading .

Generally, its closeness to the old town provided the nostalgic experience.

Close to old town

Too far to walk to train or bus station. TV should be provided since all the shops closed so early. Map code for drivers is not found on the website and I have provided the code to the counter staff and hope it will be inserted into your website.

Boutique hotel, great "wood" theme.

Easy to find. Boutique hotel that looks and feels like new. Loved the "wood" theme. Staff, facilities, bath and happy hour were great. I liked that there was no TV.

Platform bed was a bit small but not a dealbreaker.

Coup de cœur à Takayama

L'hôtel est très beau et représente un mélange entre la tradition japonaise et l'architecture contemporaine. C'est très spacieux et le lit est très confortable. Le bain publique est très bien (merci pour la petite glace gratuite d'après 😉). L'hôtel est magnifiquement situé au centre historique de Takayama et le personnel est vraiment super sympathique !!
