New. Good breakfast. Pool was a big plus for our grandson. One suggestion would be to have a clock in the pool area so you know what time it is. Would have helped us in the morning knowing what time if was in order for us to check out on time.

Very pleasant surprise to have such a comfortable, clean, chic spot to stay in a small town.

Breakfast was delicious. The decor in that area was cheery and bright. We were so impressed with Jesse, the person who checked us in. Excellent service.

Breakfast was okay, although nothing special. There were options, at least. The room was much bigger than it seemed in the picture, which was a nice surprise.

Somehow we ended up being booked into the wrong room, so upon arrival, the room we were given had no bedding on the bed and a big cleaning machine in the middle of it. When we reported this to the receptionist, she made a call and found out we weren't ever supposed to be booked in that room for some reason. We basically got lucky that they had a spare. After about 45 minutes, we finally got our room. The receptionist was nice and apologized for the inconvenience. It was just a crummy way to start off our trip.

Lovely Brand-New Hotel in Glen Rose

It is a brand new hotel so obviously everything is spotless. Very nice hotel. The blackout shades worked like a charm and I actually was able to sleep late which was wonderful. It is also conveniently located next to two brand new "luxury" gas stations with a wide variety of products. This is a cute town with a good variety of restaurants and shops and attractions.

The experience I had was fine - small things like running out of breakfast both days I was there, in a large almost empty hotel, why put a family next to me that arrives at midnight (slamming door), no water available (but they did great to run and get some and then donate 2 bottles to me. They're trying! (For out-of-staters, be advised this area has high pollen count in Dec - Mar!)
