Had an amazing time fishing and relaxing. A few items for improvement, tub in master bath would not hold water. Dock has no hand rails and gaps in boards will grab your shoes. Outside of these minor things place is beautiful and felt like home away from home!

Boat host broken, water filtration to home broke, no furniture or closet in master bedroom to put your clothes in, planks on long walk to end of dock spaced far apart, no railing all the way, no ladder in case of falling into water and owner passed the buck on boat host being broken by saying she didn't advertise it but the pictures showed in available! We had to cook and bathe in brown water for 5night stay someone came to repair the filter on 3rd. Day but said it couldn't be fixed. My opinion is I'll never go back! Our friend did slip and fall into the water one night and being alone he nearly drowned trying to pull himself out from the water. He managed to climb in the boat then climb up to the dock without any stairs to help him! Color us very sad!

Greener Pastures was perfect for our 5 nights in the New Orleans area. The peaceful location of the home was wonderful with breathtaking views. The home is spacious and modern with numerous amenities. Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Would definitely rent again on our next trip to the area.

This house was exactly what we were looking for. 2 couples Celebrating our 15th anniversaries. We caught 7 crab during our stay and a flounder which was so awesome. The hosts were very accommodating and great at communicating. Highly recommend this place and thanks for sharing your home with us!

When we arrived at the property, it was 94 degrees inside the house. The air was not working at all. It was cooler outside than it was inside but was still 89 degrees outside. I spent the next 3+ hours trying to reach the owner for resolution. During this time, my elderly parents and other family members sat outside the house sweating and feeling miserable. I ended up contacting the property management company, who also attempted multiple times to reach the owners. We really did not want to move from this property but were ultimately sent to another property nearby since the owners could not be reached to get the air situation evaluated. The lack of communication was unacceptable. The house itself was also very dirty. It did not appear that the toilet, sink, refrigerator, etc had been cleaned from the previous people who stayed there. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and we will not be staying there again.

We just loved staying here so much this weekend. It was so clean and very nice. They had everything you need and then some. A wonderful experience. I definitely would book again in the future.

We loved this house! After a day of exploring New Orleans, it was perfect for getting away from the city to relax for the evening. Our teenage boys loved the night fishing and crabbing. The house had plenty of space for the five of us and was clean. We would 100% return to this property!

The photos are the listing aren’t up to date there’s only 2 king beds and the bunk bed also the house moves when your walking not too crazy though and the water smells glad I decided to bring my candle . Other than that absolutely no complaints the location was perfect . Super quiet as well . Hostess responded quick and very friendly ❤️

We had a great time visiting the area. The home was very nice and well equipped. Night fishing was amazing from the pier as well as catching crabs in the pots. It was exactly the getaway we needed.

The House is great, very clean and comfortable stay. The only issue is the well water but we got over that quickly and they have a Water cooler in the kitchen. The views are great and I would recommend for a Family get away.

We came down for our nephew's wedding with our sons and daughter-n-law. We had such a great time at this house. It was so well stocked with everything we needed. All we had to do was buy a few groceries and everything else was available for our use. The homeowners were great. I contacted Whitney and recieved a response back almost immediately. I would recommend this home to anyone. The location was perfect for us. My guys fished off the pier and loved checking the crab traps. The only thing I wish is that we would've had more time at the house. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Had a fabulously relaxing week at Greener Pastures. The home was very clean when we arrived, and the property owner was super responsive. Spent a lot of time reading in the hammocks on the dock, enjoying the views & nature sounds from the rocking chairs, and cooking up a storm with delicious local seafood in the huge kitchen. Only minor complaints were the spotty wifi (which, considering where the home is located, I get it) and lack of good knives for cooking (but we made do). Great place to get away!
