Warm welcome from the Owner, good parking, well appointed room. Short walk into AdlZ for evening meal. My early start - before breakfast officially started - was accommodated with cereals in the breakfast room.

The Cedars in Ashby is just an excellent guest house to stay and the owner Simon is a fantastic host and wonderful chef at making your breakfast.
There was nothing I did not like during my 7 day stay. Well done Simon.

Location
Room tired, flaking paint and blackened sealant around bathroom window gave impression of being dirty, which it wasn’t. It’s not very welcoming from the outside, and marginally better inside.
Breakfast was nice enough, traditional b&b fare. No yogurt or fruit in sight. It’s a budget breakfast.
