About this house rental
Splash into your San Diego getaway — our private pool with a waterslide is the heart of this family-friendly tropical oasis. Kids spend all day on the slide while you relax poolside, with room for everyone to spread out, indoors and out. Freshly painted in 2025 and set in the Waterford community of Scripps Ranch, it's built for the kind of family trip where nobody wants to leave.
Sleeping (sleeps 8)
King in the primary, two Queens, and a bunk bed (two twins, sleeps 2) in the bunk room — plus a baby crib available for little ones. Comfortable for two families traveling together or a multi-generational group.
Inside
A fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook for the whole group — full-size fridge, oven/range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and all the cookware, dishes, and utensils. Multiple living areas across ~3,600 sq ft give everyone room to spread out, including a dedicated kids' playroom and a balcony, dining for 8, and fast Wi-Fi plus a workspace for remote work. Central A/C, in-unit washer & dryer, and all linens and towels provided.
Outside
The backyard is the star — a large pool with a kids' waterslide, a hot tub, a built-in BBQ, and a fire pit for the evenings. You're a couple of miles from Lake Miramar for jogging, biking, and canoeing, and under 30 minutes from downtown, the beaches, the Wild Animal Park, and more.
Pool & spa heating (included)
The pool is heated up to 85°F in summer and 80°F in the cooler months. The spa is heated to 104°F year-round. In colder months, the pool may take longer to reach temperature and can run slightly below target on the coldest days.
Pool & spa safety — please read
The pool and spa have no safety covers and are not surrounded by gates.
Adults must supervise children at all times near the pool and waterslide.
The fire pit sits at ground level and is unprotected — keep children watched whenever it's in use.
Bathrooms
The soaking tub in the primary bathroom is not in service. Two other bathrooms have working tubs, and all bathrooms have working showers.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and the two-car garage. One standalone 1-car garage is not included. Parties and events are not permitted.
Interaction with guests
We're available and responsive via phone, text, and email. There are no keys to lose or return — the home has secure, keyless entry via an August Smart Lock, with a personal entry code issued for your stay. Physical keys are available too if you prefer.
