The view from the roof-terrace was amazing, where the kitchen is also located. Fine kitchen and rooms.

The location is great, and we do like the place for the breakfast that has stunning view. It was great just to be there

That is type of accommodation, where house is rebuilt for the hotel. So you don't have this feeling of privacy, and you hear pretty everything what is happening on your floor. And we had 3 more rooms on our floor. But luckily we were not during the high season, so we almost didn't have any issues with this. The place for breakfast is great, but the breakfast itself was weak. It was bread + another bread, jam, butter few slice of cheese and ham. Pack of yogurt. The lady who served super warm and welcoming. She allow us to have our own food there besides the hotel breakfast, so we managed to do more complete meal. But one more time, the place is amazing.

A quiet and comfortable stay in picturesque surroundings.

The hostess was very friendly, she met us at the reception and showed us to our room. She answered all our questions and gave us good advice on where to go and what to see. The room itself was not big but clean and cosy, with a big terrace with sea view. The breakfast was served in the canteen on the upper floor with huge glass windows with a spectacular view of the ocean.

The owner was really helpful and nice. Amazing sea view from the front and breakfast room. Great breakfast.

Bed could have been more comfortable and the balcony of back-facing rooms aren't that enjoyable.

The building, the kind reception,

Visual separation between terraces of two rooms. Limescale in shower. (Construction is difficult to clean for the cleaning person..)

A nice relaxed hotel very close to the beach.

Relaxed atmosphere with modern facilities. The breakfast is great with lots on offer. Really close to the beach, which isn’t too busy.

The bed is a little hard.

The host was so kind, welcoming, and offered great recommendations for a nearby restaurant!

The breakfast was great! Everything tasted so fresh and was full until lunchtime. Great coffee as well!

Amazing little place

The location is just amazing. The view from our room was stunning! And you can also get an even greater view from the top terrace. You can easily walk or drive to an amazing beach in a few minutes. The owner is very nice and she makes sure everything is perfect. Very nice breakfast and extremely comfy beds. Located in a very small village, we were surprised to find a very decent restaurant (Adega do Careca) within a 10 minutes walk.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. My only regret is that I have only stayed one night.

Romantic and personal hotel with an awesome view

We had a really nice stay at Casa des Barcas. Vera gave us a warm welcome and many restaurant and location tips. Our personal highlight was the breakfast room with the awesome ocean view. We also enjoyed the calmness of this place. In only a few minutes you are at the beach where almost only locals chill (I can recommend the Cafe/Bar right there, the sandwiches are very good). I think this hotel is the perfect place for a few days and very romatic.

It's a cheap rental with a great view

Location looks out into the ocean (not from the room but from the shared, top-floor, breakfast space. When I stayed, there was only one other guest and the building itself was quiet.

The door into the rented room is thin, so I could hear people in front of the door walking by to get to their room. Hard bed and pillows. Unfortunately they only serve one breakfast at a particular time, so I did not get to partake. I left before 9:00am, and it was too early for the cook to prepare.

Gorgeous views and close to beach.

Gorgeous and peaceful location. Fantastic hosts with great communication and knowledge of the area. We wish we could have stayed longer-- but our trip did not allow.

Great view, good rooms and lovely host

This place has a great location with a beautiful view over a few beaches. Rooms are spacious and comfortable although the soundproofing from the common hallway could be better. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is excellent and offers plenty of options. The host is lovely and gives you plenty of tips where to eat some delicious sea food.

Bit of a bummer that the coffee machines didn’t work when we were there so the only coffee choice was instant… We stuck to tea instead.

Nice bed and breakfast for a night or two

Really nice location on the top of the cliffs, you can walk down to the beach or drive to near beaches. Nice rooms, rather comfy beds. Big terrace. Breakfast room on the rooftop with great view, breakfast okay, nothing crazy. The hosts are really nice and welcoming. Thank you!

Superb

The location is great for being next to the beach. We travelled in what can be called "off-season" so, it is was very silent. Breakfast was quite good and there are nice places around for dining. We enjoyed our stay.

Can't complain.
