Amazing location (middle of the mountain), very kind staff, a real lodge

The view is good and room is very clean. We enjoy the small kitchen in the room and cook some food. It's really good if you can spend time hiking around but unfortunately we did not have time. The room is warm with the radiator.

Clean, hostel style communal kitchen and dining/sitting rooms, own bathroom and bedroom. Good sized bunks for older children and also comfy chairs in the room. Amazing views. Chance to chat to other travellers.
Kitchen a bit basic but was fine. List of rooms on the counter to ‘check in’, staff didn’t actually speak to us at all.

It was in the middle of nature which we have hoped for!
The lady who was present was trying to be helpful even of language barrier.
Lack of presence in person re: Communication with the host to know about the surroundings as it was our first time in 🇳🇴. Also to sort out issues eg: our extra money taken from us whilst booking so communicating in English during our stay which was essential.
we’re told to ask the neighbour if we need to enquire anything during our stay which was not that convenient.
We felt totally helpless.😣
