We were upgraded to a master suite and it was amazing! The rooms were huge and the views magnificent. We loved the spa facilities and the hotels location for hiking. My partner requires gluten free food and this was available for breakfast and dinner.
It is disappointing that guests must pay extra for parking, this should be included in the cost.

Public area and deck outside were nice. A la cart menu for dinner was good.
The room was extremely basic, very outdated, and bordering on neglected in appearance. The bathroom looked as though it had not been renovated since the 1970s. There was not even a bottle of water in the room, let alone a coffee machine. It was a real disappointment, which is unfortunate because the location on the fjord is beautiful and the public areas are quite pleasant.
Overall, it was a disappointment and a missed opportunity. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, but it is in serious need of renovation and modernization.
