Take strolls to swim and kayak at Bristol Beach, a quarter-mile south, or Falmouth Heights Beach, half a mile southwest, and spend your evenings dining and cheering on the Falmouth Commodores in the center of town one mile west. Begin each morning by flipping pancakes in the kitchen, then grab a fresh bathing suit from the laundry room and head out the door with your beach toys and towels. Come home each afternoon to rinse off in the outdoor shower, share a few photos on the free WiFi, and light the gas grill for a barbecue dinner with your loved ones outside. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Location was great, home good for two people. A couple maintenance fixes needed (tiles missing on bathroom floor and no way to close the second room door from inside - need to add a handle on the inside of the door/room). But overall very nice small cottage in a great location.

So close to beach. Nice good beds and furniture. Small. Twin bedroom needs shades. Washer and dryer good but in back thru bulkhead down treacherous stairs so b prepared.

Charming house , quiet neighborhood. Able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the pond. Short walk to ocean. Close to ferries and downtown. First day no hot water but able to get fixed by end of the day. During course of week , had leaky iron replaced . Dishwasher had 3 buttons broken off so a little challenging trying to figure out buttons to push to get it to start. Vacuum cleaner not working. No broom or dustpan to use instead. Advertised as having washer/dryer, did not realize it would be down a bulkhead ! Had to carry laundry down narrow steps , no railing. Light did not work in basement so used flashlight to see control panel on washer / dryer! Advertised as having parking for second vehicle. We had a truck and barely fit in driveway. Not sure where second vehicle would have parked as no street parking! We liked the house/ location. Feel owners need to provide more info online re washer/ dryer situation and parking situation!

Nice cottage on the cape, walking distance to the beach and on a relatively quiet street.

The home was nice and clean, however, checkin time was 4pm and the cleaners were still cleaning until 430pm. They were very surprised to see us there at 4pm. While this was annoying since we just had a long car ride with 2 toddlers, the real kicker was that the cleaners arrived at 940am on checkout day when checkout was 10am. Not a good customer service experience. Overall good stay, but be prepared to feel cheated on your rental time.

Cute cottage
We had such a great time! The house is cute and has a great view. We loved watching the sunrise from the Adirondack chairs in the front. It was only a quick five minute walk to the beach, and The Main Street was very close. We will definitely be back!

Very pleasant stay. Cottage clean and functional. Couple ideas to make even better are to add couple beach chairs, bathroom shelves to put toiletries. Maybe full length wall Mirror in bedroom. Great location! Would recommend to others. Thank you !!

This property was convenient to Falmouth and all its venues. Few minutes to a beach and 10-15min walk to restaurants and coffee shop. Comfortable, clean and cozy with blankets, towels, dishes and cutlery and plenty of TVs. I recommend this place!

Wonderful Stay
Loved this sea cottage on an inlet a short walk from beach. Beautiful view out front windows. Convenient location on Cape and easy to get to Martha’s Vineyard. Nicely decorated and kept up. Fit our needs perfectly.

A special place
My Mom and I stayed here for a long weekend. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Every morning the swans would come and visit in the waterway out front. The small beach around the corner was an easy walk and gorgeous! The cottage was charming and had everything we needed. We loved our stay!

Great stay. Beautiful view, quiet, accessible for great day trips. Very comfortable and clean. Stayed an extra day we enjoyed so much. Did not need second bedroom, but if we did would have been uncomfortable with lack of any window coverings. Close neighbors. Great king mattress in master.

A view to die for!
The view is spectacular! Everyone that walked by gave us praises for having this house. Inside the house is very cutely decorated and most of the furniture seems new. There are lots of towels and kitchen utilities.
The only thing we missed was a kitchen table but the last day we realised that you might be able to unfold the table in the hallway. We didn’t try it though. It was also a bit hard to find the washing mashine, that was in the basement with entrance from the back yard.

The view is to dye for!
This house is even better than in the pictures! The view is wonderful at any time of the day, everyone that walks by congrats you for having this house. And inside it is so cute and at a great standard. The only thing we missed is that you might unfold the table in the hallway into a dining table? And it also took us some time to realise that the washingmashine and dryer are in the basement.

Great location, but needs more privacy
The view of Little Pond, with all its waterfowl was very nice. The beaches are only a short walk away. The house was very clean except for some cobwebs hanging from the bathroom light. Parking is limited, but was okay for our stay as we never had more than two cars at any one time. A third car would be a problem.
The furnishings seemed new and clean. The front windows facing the pond need some form of curtains, as the morning sun is very bright and the road is right outside, maybe only ten feet away. There was a lack of curtains throughout the house, including the bathroom. One bedroom had nothing on the windows. The master had Venetian blinds, but that's all and the neighbors are incredibly close.
The house was well stocked with most things that anyone would need, including beach towels, a good supply of linens, and all the necessities for cooking and/or grilling.
The laundry was in the basement, which was accessed by the outside bulk head. This would be difficult for anyone with the slightest mobility issues. However, having a laundry is definitely a plus for an extended stay.
The house has central air, which was needed during our very hot and humid week.
In spite of any of the negatives I've mentioned, I would stay here again, but hope that the owner installs curtains throughout the house.

The view was delicious, complete with white swans (or geese?). The kitchen was well equipped, the linens very nice AND the place was spotless. The location is very convenient to town, but not in walking distance. The bathroom is small, reflecting its older beach cottage status. Good parking for on3 car.

This is a bracket cottage, complete with a fireplace. Bright and comfortable. The place was spotless, the towels white and fluffy. The full kitchen is well equipped. The coffee maker is a drip so bring ground coffee. The white swans on the pond are beautiful. Highly recommend this cottage.
