The Lodge on Stony Creek is a secluded spacious home situated on over 450 private acres. Wonderfully decorated in a rustic style, this property is conveniently located in Farmington near the 5-star Nemacolin Golf and Ski Resort, Ohiopyle, and Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water. The main level of the home offers a fully equipped modern kitchen, a half bath, family room and great room. With five bedrooms, there is plenty of space for your friends and family. Two bedrooms have kings size beds, two with queen size and one with two full size beds. New mattresses ensure your comfort. The large living area boasts cathedral ceilings and hardwood flooring, a large decorative fireplace, a flat screen television with satellite TV and DVD player. This unit also includes High Speed Internet with WIFI throughout the house. The Lodge at Stony Creek is the ideal place to perfect your culinary skills indoors and out with the fabulous gourmet kitchen and a large charcoal grill and the large deck, including a new hot tub, providing the perfect setting for el fresco gatherings. The Lodge at Stony Creek is a lovely home set in beautiful surroundings. It was very clean and very comfortable for our group of 10. It was even nicely decorated for the holidays. Sitting in the hot tub watching the snow fall down was fabulous!

The property was a great size for our friends weekend! We had a little problem with check in as the code we were given did not work. It actually did not work at all over the weekend so we couldn’t lock the main door if we wanted to leave. The space was very clean and we loved how secluded it was! The beds weren’t the greatest but it was fine for two nights. Hot tub was great we got alot of use out it!

Three generations, from ages seven to eighty, enjoyed five days in this spacious, well-appointed, and very clean lodge on a beautiful wooded lot with lots of privacy. The arrangement of bedrooms was perfect for our family of six adults and four youngsters. Having three bedrooms upstairs, a huge living area and kitchen on the main level, and two bedrooms on the lower level provided quiet sleeping spaces and three full baths. For a larger group and a stay of longer than a few days, a larger refrigerator would be helpful, especially since the nearest supermarkets are 20+ miles away. We would definitely come back to Stony Creek Lodge.

This property was a wonderful place to stay with extended family. We went rafting on the nearby Yough river and everything was well-appointed to meet our needs during our trip. My only complaint is that a futon was pictured in the downstairs sleeping area but was not there when we arrived. We had been planning on the futon for flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Other than that it was a wonderful vacation home.

We have been doing a after Christmas extended weekend trip for 6 years. This may have been the best one so far. The house is extremely spacious. We had 7 adults. 5 kids and 2 dogs. And plenty of room . We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. My son and future dil got engaged at Cucumber Falls and we all went over and got some amazing pics. Enjoyed some time at the Christian Clay winery and brewery as well. Not to mention Mountain Pies pizza. YUMMY. Will definitely return.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Lodge on Stony Creek. It was our first time going away for Christmas and this place did not disappoint. Upon entering the cabin, we were so very pleased to see it decorated for the holidays. The main living area was very spacious. There was 11 of us, and we did not feel cramped at all. Large ‘L’ shaped couch with two reclining sitting chairs. There was a couch also in front of the fireplace with a loveseat to the side. Plenty of seating. The kitchen was very well stocked with all you might need. The huge table, accommodate the family dinners nicely. Upstairs, there were three bedrooms. One king master, and two queens. When you first go up the steps, the first bedroom is the king with an en suite. Down the hallway was a bathroom with a shower and two bedrooms with queen size beds. Downstairs was a common area that had a table and chairs and an air hockey table. There was a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. One bedroom with a king size bed and the other bedroom had two double beds. While there we went out to eat at Braddock’s. I highly recommend. Great food, large portions, friendly staff and low prices. The cabin was very clean, sheets and towels for everyone, even towels for the hot tub. Laundry on lower level if needed. We had a great stay and I recommend this privately situated cabin in a beautiful setting. We’d book it again!

This is our 2nd time staying here. We stayed in 2020 and decided to come back to this location as we have dogs and it’s great to be able to let them run in the stream and walk the trails behind the house. They are then tired out so we can all sprawl out in the living area to watch tv or sit at the table playing games or puzzle!!!

what we were upset about was the phone call the day of our scheduled arrival telling us that the place was ready early and asked if we would like to get in early. we said we would and they preceded to tell us of the additional charge We stayed a lot of places and never ran into a charge. This really makes you look money hungry Other than that the place was very nice

We had a nice stay at the Lodge at Droney Creek. It was a great location to visit Ohiopyle and the FLW properties. Great access to hiking and walks. We enjoyed visiting Fort Necessity, which was just a few minutes away.
The house comfortably held our three households with plenty of bedrooms. Some of our fussier sleepers noted the beds weren't to their preference, but I think they're fine for the average sleeper. We found the property relatively toddler friendly too! Not too much clutter and plenty of space for pack and plays and toys. Good kitchen for prepping large family meals, and an excellent table for eating together. Overall a good stay!

Family vacation
Nice big house in a secluded area with lots of sleeping options. Lots of room to spread out inside and outside the house. Read some other previous reviews and we have some of the same complaints. Wife and I had the king in the basement and we were very happen with it's comfort. Other family members complained about their mattresses as either being very hard or they could feel the springs in them. As for the hot tub outside, well that is some what of a science experiment going on in it. The water smells, both filters are very dirty and need replaced and no chlorine present at all in the tub. I have a tub at home and with very little effort it is not hard to maintain it. Everyone was disappointed that they could not use it.

This property is set up perfectly for a large family or large group of friends. Located just a quick drive.to Ohiopyle, Nemacolin and many other places this is a hidden escape on a beautiful stream. We had a blast in the large backyard and used the firepit every evening (bring your own wood). The large table in the great room is perfect for family dinners or game night. Kitchen was properly equipped for making any meal. Bedrooms were nice but the mattresses could use some upgrading. We absolutely loved staying here with our group of friends (5 couples).

Great Escape to the Laurel Highlands
This property is set up perfectly for a large family or large group of friends. Located just a quick drive.to Ohiopyle, Nemacolin and many other places this is a hidden escape on a beautiful stream. We stayed at the Lodge on Stony Creek this August as a family gathering after a long separation due to COVID. We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is very roomy and was very clean. Furnishings in the bedrooms were sparse but that was OK. They looked just as represented in the pictures online. We had plenty of privacy but were also close to Falling Water, Ohiopyle and several nice restaurants for activities. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed using the grill and firepit. No complaints!

Great place to stay
We stayed at the Lodge on Stony Creek this August as a family gathering after a long separation due to COVID. We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is very roomy and was very clean. Furnishings in the bedrooms were sparse but that was OK. They looked just as represented in the pictures online. We had plenty of privacy but were also close to Falling Water, Ohiopyle and several nice restaurants for activities. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed using the grill and firepit. No complaints!

Overall the property was fabulous. Everything was clean, well represented on the website, spacious, surroundings beautiful. Few minor issues to bring up. A chair in the kitchen was broken ( the seat was not attached to the base) The sofa bed on the main floor, really shouldn’t be described as a bed, it was extremely uncomfortable opened up. If you need extra sleeping space, the large couch in the great room is much more comfortable. I would sleep on that, before sleeping on that sofa bed opened up. Downstairs in the bedrooms, the threshold to the carpet area had some nails sticking up that caught feet and were painful. The hot tub needs to be cleaned, the water was very cloudy. The biggest issue for me was the step down from the main level down into the great room. With the hardwood, it was very hard to see the step,and it is definitely dangerous. I went to the dollar store and got some white duct tape so that you could see the difference in levels more easily, and wasn’t unsafe. I was very concerned that somebody wouldn’t see the step and would fall down the step and hurt themselves. Hope the tape was left down foe the next people. Would stay there again, had a great stay!!
