Two Night Visit

I like the apartment. It's unique and somewhat historical. I like the view of the city off the back and the retro decor. The a/c works great but it's an apartment somewhat below ground level so it stays very cool so a/c is not really needed. We had no problem finding parking right in front on the street but remember it is pay and the meter only takes coins. It is free at night, just check times. I think the location was fine. If the owner checks into some of the below-mentioned issues I'd love to stay there again, but not for more than a few days as the one bathroom and 5 people was a bit difficult. Or I'll stay longer and leave the kids at home LOL

The cleaning could have been a bit better. There were some black bugs (NOT bedbugs, just regular small beetle-like bugs) and a few spiders and webs, in addition to hair on the floor. There is a pod coffee machine but we never found any pods. The apartment needs a full length mirror. One of the double beds has a problem with the support underneath. There is a strong smell of urine at the entrance (down the steps from the road and around the front door).

Dilapidated apartment in a great location.

The apartment had plenty of space for our family of five. The location was convenient.

The entire space was in a state of disrepair. Lots of mold in bathroom, specially the shower (it was unusable) and the bed frame in the main bedroom was broken.

This apartment is very charming. It was wonderful and large with tall ceilings. The location is a very nice neighborhood and there are restaurants not too far away.

There was construction for the building in which the apartment is located and it was noisy with equipment and men talking and working early in the morning. Also consider adding exterior photos so the building can be more easily found.

Large property, good location. Overall experience not up to standard.

Large and spacious property for a family. very good central location.

The building is under renovation and this wasn’t noted. no washing machine and hot pot for tea. Parking issue not so clear if need to pay on the street or not. There is a Nespresso machine but not even one capsule. Acoustics not good, we heard every small noise out and in. value for money I think that hotel with breakfast would be better in general.

Wonderful apartment with amazing views. Clean and comfortable. Great choice.

The location was great - 5 min walk to the historical centre. The views from the large balcony were amazing. Very clean apartment and we'll stocked. Everything worked well and no issues.

They only downside was there was some work being done on the building and there was scaffolding around the apartment (still wonderful views of the old town and university).

Exceeded all of my expectations from spacious, beautifully furnished, ease of location, patio with view, & friendly

loved everything about this place except our stay wasn’t longer. I could live in this apartment long term. Awesome location, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, large bathroom, and patio with an amazing view. we could walk to everywhere.

Beautiful, spacious and clean apartment with a lovely view

Paul's apartment is a gem. It is HUGE, well-appointed, tastefully decorated and comfortable. It was also spotlessly clean and had super fast WiFi. It was so lovely that my wife commented that she would love to live there herself.

We had a minor communication snafu (our own fault) with Paul when we were arranging our arrival time. We mistakenly told him the wrong time, so when we got there, we had to wait for a while to get in to the apartment. No big deal, and not his fault.

Gorgeous apartment with grand veranda.

Lovely apartment. T was much better than anticipated. The rooms were large. The best part was the HUGE veranda opening from 2 of the bedrooms ad the kitchen. Our host was really helpful.

Single bed had springs poking which was not comfortable.

Great stay in Coimbra

Paulo was a very nice host. He answered immediately and was very helpful. The flat is huge, clean, well equipped and perfectly located. And the terrace is great! We can absolutely recommend.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the terrace is spacious and with an amazing view. It’s in a great location, really close to the old center but in a quiet area.

The bedrooms are on street level and a bit dark. One of the two nights there was some noise on the street that woke us up but nothing major.

We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful, comfortable home. The veranda and views are wonderful ! Travelers should note this property requires walking up some fairly steep hills.

Hot water in kitchen a little problematical for us; I believe owner can fix easily. Would have liked a 2nd set of keys,
