Super clean and comfortable! Sandy was very kind and accommodating! She met us upon arrival and showed us the property and gave us recommendations on places to eat. She lives in the bottom apartment but you each have your own private entrance. The back deck has an umbrella with lights under to sit under at night. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. I wish we could've stayed for breakfast, but ended up needing to leave earlier than we planned. This place is only about 15- 20 minutes to downtown Galena which is great because you can get away from the hustle and bustle from there. There are no trails to walk as the next door neighbor will not let you anymore. I liked that there were several pillows to choose from too and shampoo and body wash were included too. She has a Keurig with k cups and sugars available too.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

the house is so comfortable, so well appointed, well furnished and lovely china. best of all is comfy cozy beds and sandy’s fabulous breakfast + coffee provided. she is a phenomenal cook and i’m still thinking about her scones! she is such a nice kind lady running a really great spot.
