About this house rental
Nestled in Venice Gardens, this lovely house for $120 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Comfortable in Quiet Neighborhood. The open airy living room features comfortable furnishings, and fantastic floors. It's a bright sunny room with cable HDTV and internet, a DVD player and large selection of DVD's. The dining table is situated in front of sliding doors which open fully (it's a pocket door) to the pool, providing a tranquil view of the water and tropical plants. The pool area features a large covered outdoor area with additional dining tables and overhead fans and lights, lounge chairs and gas grill. Sit in the shade or in the sun overlooking a beautiful pool, surrounded by colorful plants both inside and outside the pool cage. The pool is solar heated and surrounded by lush landscaping. The fully stocked kitchen and dining area are open to the the living area. There's a bar between the kitchen and dining area with stools for extra seating. The laundry room with large capacity washer/dryer is off the hall that leads to the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king bed, large closet, two dressers, and a desk. The en suite bathroom has a large tiled shower. There are two additional bedrooms each having a queen bed, large closet, and triple dresser and mirror. These bedrooms share a full bath. This is an outstanding vacation experience filled with comfort, privacy, convenience and visual beauty in a quiet neighborhood. Public beaches are a short drive or a beautiful bike ride along the intercoastal waterway. Nearby Shamrock Park and Nature Center offers a 80 acre preserve, tennis courts and is the starting point for miles of biking and walking along the intercostal waterway. Visit beautiful downtown Venice Island. Stroll the palm tree lined streets where you'll find unique shops and dining. Sarasota is 25 min away, Tampa 1.5 hours and Orlando about 2 hours. Just pack your swimsuit.

Entry into the home was quick & easy. Ac was not working properly the first two days of our stay so it was quite hot but Kathleen went above and beyond to rectify/resolve the situation and did get the AC fixed. The family really enjoyed playing the life & farkle games provided. We hoped to play taboo also but unfortunately it smelled like urine đŹ The separate AC unit in the master was fabulous and kept the temp great in there. Master bed is like sleeping in a ditch & really needs to be replaced. The house itself(broken lamp/closet door) & kitchen pots/pans could use some updating/care/sprucing up. The couch was super comfy! The close access to several beaches was very convenient! We found lots of cool sharks teeth & enjoyed the shopping & pastries. The kids enjoyed the pool. Kathleen is incredibly sweet & you can tell she really cares. For the price it did the trick.

We chose this home for its proximity to the beach as well as it having a swimming pool. Neither disappointed. The house itself had everything youâd need to enjoy a relaxing trip. Kathleen, the owner, was lovely and responsive the entire trip. We will be staying again â¤ď¸

This was our first time to spend a week in Florida ( to get away from cold Pennsylvania winters). We just loved the house. We are thinking about relocating maybe some day in the future. I told my husband if this was our house I would be packing tomorrow to move south. It was very well stocked with anything we needed. The pool was area was delightful. We have friends that do the winter in Florida. They came over one afternoon and enjoyed our lovely pool with us. The neighborhood is very quiet. I took walks every morning. But we were close to many restaurants and places to shop. A+++ place to stay! Iâm sad that it is already booked for next year.

Our stay in Venice was great. Most of the local beaches are about 10 minute drive from the house. The pool area was perfect to relax after the beach and hang out during the evening rainstorms. We would come back again, thank you for your hospitality!

Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay in Venice. The house was everything it was advertised to be and it was especially nice to arrive to a house stocked with all the necessities. The pool area is just great with both shady and sunny areas to enjoy. The location is excellent - close to everything yet is in a nice residential setting perfect for evening walks. Having access to the South Venice Ferry is a real plus for beach days.
We cannot say enough positive things about our dealings with Kathleen. She was very responsive to any queries and a real pleasure to deal with. Thanks again for a great stay!!
