The location was perfect.

It was a lovely old building.
We had a Sunday Roast Dinner & it was amazing. One of the best we had ever had!!
Close to the festival.

Only marked down was because the bed was old & not comfortable & the shower didn’t work. But that was soon addressed.

Room was clean and a good size.
Mattresses were worn, you cld feel the springs.
We were woken up in room 7 at 7am on Saturday and 8 am Sunday by the internal kitchen extractor fan vibrating through the wall. We also got the unenviable smell of chip fat blowing in through our window from below.
We complained to the senior housekeeper, who took my details so someone would contact me to affect a refund or a discount, but so far nobody has bothered to get in touch.
The hotel cant justify Charging over £100 per night for what is clearly an ongoing noise and smell issue. They need to invest in a new modern extractor fan that doesn't vibrate through the walls and filters the kitchen cooking smells.
