Love my second family here, the exceptional friendliness and inclusion. It is also one of the most beautiful areas in the country. The food is really good too.

Everything, the staff are very friendly and so is the community, always love staying at waimeha cabins are just perfect heaven on earth this place

Loved sitting on the porch watching the sun go down
It was basically clean, but I cleaned the kitchen window and benchtop behind the microwave, and the carpet needed replacing. The place just felt too rustic for us and didn't 'feel' clean. The neighbours who were about 3 metres away started up saws & other machinery used to build some sort of structure, not ideal when you're trying to relax with a class of wine on the deck
We couldn't fully lock the place & the windows rattled badly on the very windy night we had.
Although the sign gave opening hours for the bar and restaurant, it was closed when we arrived back on Monday afternoon. Luckily, we had food as there was nowhere open to buy anything and no one at reception.
