Nice room, clean
, our only problem was the narrow stairs for my husband.but we did not request a first floor room so I can’t fault the facility.

The B&B mostly lived up to what we expected. Rustic, antique furniture, and decor all made sense to the facility. However, the one end table in our bedroom was on the verge of collapsing if you put a drink on it. The water pressure / flow made washing your hair very challenging, but not totally unexpected from an older property. The B&B check in process was easy and accommodating since we arrived much later than expected. The location was close to Jay Peak which made for a convenient ski weekend and was only about a five minute drive from the small downtown to find food options.
The beds were not comfortable. Antique furniture to fit the style is great, but the bed felt very old for the cost of the room on a holiday weekend. The breakfast was just coffee, yogurt, and a fresh bread (which was delicious, but was down to one slice when we arrived at 8am) so certainly wouldn't say it was worth the built in cost for a "continental breakfast."
The property did handle it quickly, but the walls are paper thin. The guests sharing the unit with us were wildly rude. The children were running up and downstairs constantly, the lit a fire (unsure if it was an inside fireplace or outdoor), but our room stunk of fire and not in a good way for an entire evening. The kids and parents were yelling so constantly it really took away from the environment. Again, the owners did handle this and have them quiet down for our 3rd night, but the lack of insulation between rooms was really bad. We could hear entire conversations from the other guests while they were in the tub in their room from our bed. And the tub had jets that made such a deep reverberating sound in our room we had to leave it was so hard to handle.
