Outdoor living spaces, large spacious rooms, steam room, jacuzzi tub, entertainment room with bar and theatre television. The pool on this property is 40,000 gallons, 40 feet by 20 feet. Swim and relax in the backyard outdoor Palapa and sip a cocktail at the bar or relax in the hammock by a waterfall while listening to the 15 foot fountain surrounded by carousel animals. Every year, the family travels somewhere to be together over the holidays. This year we pick San Antonio. The home suited all of our needs size and amenities. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to use the pool or even enjoy sitting out often. But there were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and our host decorated the house, including a fully decorated Christmas tree. Access to the home was easy. We had an amazing family reunion at La Casa. The property is very unique, spacious, eclectic, in a great location (close to so many things) and so much fun. The pool is huge and the palapa and large porch are great places to kick back and relax. We had an issue with the refrigerator not cooling sufficiently when we arrived so we contacted the property manager about it. She came by to take a look that evening and had a new fridge for us the very next morning!!! We were blown away by her responsiveness and attentiveness. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at La Casa again sometime. We had an unforgettable stay :)

We had girls coming in from all over the country so this was a great location being so close to the airport. The house is eclectic, but it’s part of the experience and we all enjoyed it! HUGE house with a bunch of space and a beautiful backyard with a great pool and palapa. Madeleine was the property manager and she was very responsive to any and all needs. Would do again!

Needs major TLC!
What I liked:
Large House with room to spread out.
Large pool was nice.
Outdoor patio was large and shaded.
What I didn't like:
Decor in the living room was dated and uncomfortable.
Bathroom in primary upstairs suite was very outdated, drawers at the vanity were dirty inside so that we stored everything on the counter. I'm not sure about the other bathrooms.
Numerous drawers didn't open and close without falling off the slider.
The steam shower didn't work and was an amenity that we were looking forward to.
The futon was urine stained which was covered with a sheet. Why are these things not replaced when old, soiled, and worn out?
The TV's only worked for live TV, so we could watch films, kid shows, etc. that were offered on Netflix, Hulu, etc.
The refrigerator stopped cooling correctly after the first night.
While we were there, a repairman came and spent most of the day working on replacing needed parts. It still wasn't cooling properly and the repairman, while polite and wanting to help, interrupted our meals, and the chef we had hired to make several meals.
This issue lasted the entire stay.
Chef Mark was definitely the highlight of our time at the house. He was an excellent chef, personable, and worked tirelessly even though he had to use the bar mini-fridge and outdoor kitchen fridge to help keep food from spoiling.
The property needs a thorough cleaning and maintenance overhaul. Appliances and systems should be tested and working well before guests arrive, not trying to fix them once the house is occupied.
As furniture wears out, it should be replaced. Floors left feet black on the bottom from inadequate cleaning.

Outstanding weekend
There is nothing I could even begin to not like about this place and stay. From our arrival and call from Madeline to see if we wanted a tour and to ask if we have any questions and when I did text her to ask questions I got answers immediately. The beds were comfortable, showers were great, kitchen was more than fully stocked and awesome, Pool and Gazebo was so awesome didn't want to go anywhere. It was an awesome weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday, I got major kuddos for the weekend, but it was the house that pulled it off.!

The pool was perfect. Plenty of room for 13. When it rained it poured through the downstairs bedroom window. After 4 days it was fixed.

Good Stay
Overall the stay was good, the pool was the blessing as the kids get to enjoy the water after such a long time. Just had small issues like we had to manage without pack and play though it was mentioned the property has it and there were no body wash in the bathrooms (it was provided after a day but miostly it had water in it and no soap). Other than that we had a good time.

Our overall experience was good..
We spent the majority of the time outside at the pool.. Outside wise seemed like it was kept up with cleaning wise.. the little cabana area needed to be wiped down and there was things spilled on the floor that seemed to have been there for a while. 1st day lots of leaves/ flower looking things floating in the pool.. pool guy came and cleaned the next day so water was perfect after that..
House itself has a strong odor of old people..
Microwave is just there for show, so we had to use the oven to heat up leftover foods. We were able to use the washer and dryer after asking the owner to access to it..
Owner lives on sight so that was super uncomfortable for us.. She gave us a walk thru of the home, which wasn't the best and something we were not at all use to. . However she was very nice and helpful when needed with a few issues in the home. Overall we don't think the amount of money we were charged was worth it..
Nice home if your into art and antiques.. Pool was honestly the best thing out of the house.. kids had a blast in it everyday, so that's all that mattered

This property was amazing & spacious for any get togethers. Very beautiful art work displayed around the house. Grocery store was 2 minutes from the house. Great location. Loved that we were given tour of the house upon arriving. Great host & super clean. Kids loved the pool & movie room. Fun for the whole family. Will definitely be booking again for another family get together.

La Casa-Elegant Wedding Stay
The swimming pool was great. The rooms allowed for ample guest stay - however the bath rooms access was not the best. The grill was out of propane and none was available. The house is dated and needs some attention/repairs. Some room lights did not work - in particular the dinning nook, living room, and downstairs bath room. Overall the house worked well for our needs- the location was excellent. We were unable to arrange a final walk-thru on leaving.

Excelent Host, Home Layout/distribution in a great central location in San Antonio
Sheila was great all around, before during and after our stay. Great home for large extended family with spaces for grown ups and children. The home is unique with Sheila's taste and personality. She was quickly available to resolve anything, including replacing a BBQ Grill with a new one for our stay. Sheila also helped us find a ring we had forgotten with the help of very professional cleaning staff. We wouldn't think twice if back in San Antonio. The house has everything, including Christmas decorations, tree, etc. Just show up and relax. Thank you for everything Sheila!

Awesome experience
We rented LaCasa-Elegant for a baby shower/party luau. It was the perfect place for us. Sheila was a very friendly, patient host...I had LOTS of questions regarding measurements, etc and she was easy to work with. I will definitely rent LaCasa again when the need arises.

We had a wonderful time in the house. Especially the swimming area. It was hard for the older folks with the stairs, but overall worked out ok.

Perfect meeting place
The name says it all! My group was fortunate enough to secure this location for our yearly retreat over the July 4th weekend and the space was more than fantastic. The home came fully equipped with anything you could imagine, or hope for and Sheila was always right on time if there was a question or concern. The home is centrally located which made getting around town for our traveling guest quite simple. However, low and behold no one wanted to leave the property the entire weekend. There’s plenty of space indoors, as well as the outdoor terrace and pool areas gave everyone plenty of room to spread out. We had up to 20 people in the home at our peak meeting time and there was plenty of room for at least 20 more. Our group travels throughout the year to different locations, but none have come close to the experience we had at La Casa. As my guest departed it was stated over and over again how great of a time they had at this location, and this will be at the top of our list for our next San Antonio group getaway. If you’re looking for a gathering place for a group, or family you will not be disappointed with an investment in this property. Sheila and this property are the best!
