Great location in old part of town with lots of community life around the piazza Cavour. The room is tasteful and well appointed with everything you need on a trip. We got good recommendations for places to eat, visit and swim on the island.

Great location right in the main square of the old section of town so very handy to restaurants and coffee shops, etc. Very homey feel. Hosts were very helpful!

The 5 flights of stairs. But this was stated in the description. Still a slog at times. The managers were very kind to take our bags up and down the stairs in checkin and checkout.

We had a lovely stay at Porta Del Mare. Rossella and Bruno were always friendly, service minded and the communication went fast and easy. The place is situated in the historic center of Porteferraio, right where you want to be. We also had an amazing view over the harbor. Highly recommend.

Nice view over the harbour if you take a front room

Front rooms have no bathroom 4th floor with long steep steps.... so if you have a heavy suitcase not convenient a really simple place, havent seen anything like that since my boarding school times 😀

The Room was very clean and full of light. The view over the harbour is amazing and the owners are very kind. The Location of the apartment is just perfect.

The Wifi reception was not very good in the room. And we could hear everything from the floor.
