The design element was nicely done. We appreciated the details like the art and woodwork.
The soundproofing needs to be greatly improved. In the evening we could hear the dog and guests next door. In the morning, we were woken up before 9am by the sound of a Dyson vacuum -- this was one and off until check out at 11am. I put earplugs in to try to go back to sleep, but couldn't. With such a cool conversion of an old time motel and it being the price of a 4 star hotel, the sound issue should have been factored in.
