Situated in Daly City, this charming house for $386 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Experience the fresh ocean breeze while you take a peek onto the world famous Olympic Club Golf Course. You feel relaxed, at peace and rejuvenated... Well, that is just the icing on the cake! Indulge and turn your vacation mode ON as you stay in this original Doelger Mid-Century Modern home! You will surely appreciate the newly renovated interior of this iconic abode decorated with a mix of old and new elements. You'll feel like staying in a luxury hotel within the comfort of a welcoming home. This home is very close to the ocean so the air is always fresh and hang gliders can often be seen overhead. The interior has been newly refurbished with new kitchen appliances and other amenities which you can use during your stay. There is a 55" 4K ROKU TV with sound bar in the family room, a remote control natural gas fireplace, premium Simmons mattresses, and off street garage parking with space in the driveway for two additional cars. The home is located in the Westlake area of Daly City (close to the iconic Original Joe's restaurant as well as to many other eateries). It provides convenient access to public transportation (San Mateo County Transit and BART) and stores such as Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Safeway and Walgreens. This is a neighborhood of single-family homes is quiet and provides easy access to the ocean including Thornton State Beach (15-minute walk) and Fort Funston. The property is super close to San Francisco (SF is actually right behind the backyard fence!). By car, it takes 15 minutes to get downtown or to the airport (SFO), and only 20 minutes to get to the Golden Gate Bridge or to Oracle Park. The location is convenient to the city, but because of its proximity to nature, the home allows a nice respite from the urban density of the city. It is also very close to some of the best surfing in the SF area with Rockaway and Linda Mar State Beaches being only a 15-minute drive away.

It's a good home, cozy and charming. Sinks in both bathrooms need to be fixed. Water flow was weak and like a headline, should provide more paper towels and toilet paper. Door lock was stuck but quickly addressed by management team. Record player is a bonus. A sweet home away from home.

Such a comfortable and home-y house! The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe, yet we were close to so many things to do. We appeciated the beautiful decor and all the little conveniences like a coffee maker, a tv for movie watching, pots and pans for cooking and eating in. It was a great place to spend time together when we weren't out and about.

Great property. It came as described with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Loved the tv room. Loved the coat rack. Big closets in all bedrooms. So close to Safeway and target. Wonderful safe quiet location. Only issue was washer didn’t work but communication was excellent and new washwr was delivered and installed at the end of our trip.

The home is located in a quite area between other houses of the same type. The beach is 20 minutes walk, shopping 15 minutes walk. By car San Francisco city center can be reach within 20 minutes. Families or other groups can easily stay here - house and kitchen are well equiped with all necessary stuff.

We very much enjoyed staying at this house! It was such a convenient location to go to San Francisco and explore the city without having to stay in the downtown area. The house manager was very polite and helpful. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay there!

This is a really great house and the location is great for going to San Francisco. I actually loved the refinished floors and the original bathroom tile. This is a really great house and the location is great for going to San Francisco. I actually loved the refinished floors and the original bathroom tile. Great location for exploring the coastline and western SF. Minutes from the zoo. House had a bit of a smell to it when we arrived, but aired out quickly. Not the best place for small children as there were many breakable ideas (glass table and display cabinet).

We stayed here for three nights over Presidents’ Day weekend. The house was perfect for my husband and me and our four grown children. Fun, kitschy mid-century decor in an iconic Doelger “Little Boxes” house backing to a pretty view of the Olympic Club golf course. Nice quiet location with grocery, Target, and Walgreens close. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and house had everything we needed with the exception of a good wine opener. Wifi could also use a boost. Also, a larger hair dryer would be a help. The one provided was small and overheated. Overall a fun stay and close enough to San Francisco at a decent price. Would definitely stay again!
