Interior was well furnished and comfortable. Kitchen was well furnished with glasses, dishes and cooking utensils to accommodate large group of guests.
Location is right off the main road and in the middle of a gas station parking lot, with the volunteer Fire Department directly behind. Traffic and noise can be heavy during the day, but House is well insulated from noise and was quiet at night. Location allowed very easy walking access to restaurants and stores.
Rating would be higher, however, it was apparent that only the minimum is being done for cleaning and maintenance. Stays at Low budget hotels have been cleaner and better maintained.
Overall stay due to cleanliness and maintenance was defiantly not worth price paid.

The location of this place is in the center of Shaver Lake and walking distance to just about eveything, that being said, the sign in front of the Home says Mexican restaurant and we had 3 people just walk in the front door looking for food. There are signs inside the house about where you can park and other rules but no signs outside to let others know that this is a home and residence parking only. We had issues parking and people walking in and through the front of the home. We also had the trash can filled from others and had no room for us to put our trash. The home is well furnished and has a game room that the grandkids loved, All in all we liked the place but will probably not stay her again. We had 3 vehicles and 2 trailers and parking was an issue.

We had credit from Vacasa for a stay that was canceled due to a covid shutdown. We waited over a year to use it. When we finally did we chose this home. We enjoyed our stay but, the cleanliness was not the best. The beds were dirty we washed our sheets because they were not clean. The floors still had food on them. The cover to the fan in the restroom even fell. Some of the technology in the home also did not work such as speakers and the hot tub was not clean as black specks came out of the jets. The screen door to the backyard space was broken and laying outside upon arrival. The home is a great size for a larger guest count. The location is extremely convenient as it is right next to the mini mart and grocery store. We were able to walk to the locations nearby. It is only about a 20 minute drive up to China Peak. We enjoyed our stay but do wish that it had been cleaner and things were not falling apart.

Great Location!
We have a house in Shaver but wanted to stay somewhere in town to have dinner and a few cocktails and not worry about driving ….. The house had everything we needed… and the perfect location, we walked to dinner had a few drinks, walked back to the house and played pool. Beds were comfortable & the air conditioning was a plus! 5 stars from us!

Great property. Only 20 minutes from China Peak. Very comfortable beds. Nice updated kitchen and bathrooms. TV’s are nice and new. WiFi worked well. Foosball and pool tables were great for the kids.

We came for a ski weekend and found the accommodation great for our needs. The bed we're comfortable but the plastic mattress protectors have got to go. The floors were not as clean as they could have been. Overall,we would stay there again. The location is right in town and 30 minutes from the ski mountain.

Awesome place!
We really enjoyed this property, it was clean, well located, and enough space. The only thing I have an issue with is the parking, due to the fact that people that go to the gas station try to park in our parking space but overall I recommend this property. Very convenient!!

Disappointed
Great location, walking distance to restaurants and close to the lake. The cabin looks like it has been remodeled and the restrooms are beautiful. Unfortunately, their cleaning staff is not doing their job. We found that the sheets were not washed, they had blood stains and what appeared to be urine so, no one sleeper on that bed!! The bed in the room down stairs was broken, the wood planks are not screwed on which made the mattress fall constantly. Also, the fridge was not working and our food got spoiled! That was 300 dollars down the drain, we called the emergency contact number to get someone down to fix it and they said that they had put in a work order and that we would receive a call when they would arrive to the cabin, no one called and no one showed up. The person we spoke to said that we would receive a discount or that they would reimburse us for the food that went bad, we are still waiting on that call. All in all, I say that we should have gotten something better considering the amount of money we spent.

Pros: good location, PLENTY of space inside the home, WIFI and cable, smart tvs, nice patio, three luxurious bathrooms, washer and dryer in home (did not need to use), game room with pool table and foosball table, fully-stocked kitchen with cookware and silverware
Cons: Downstairs master bedroom bed-frame had unsecure boards that fell twice while sleeping, causing the mattress to fall (please fix!), sheets in all beds were low thread count and not the most comfortable; wrong code for lockbox was given to us so we were unable to enter the house (had to call and was on hold for 20 minutes to get a new code); check gas line on grill before using, might be loose; inside the oven was dirty with oil at the bottom, remote batteries were dead so had to purchase/replace batteries
Overall, the house was great and perfect for our family needs, with plenty of space for everyone. Everyone loved the house and very impressed with the modern-chic layout. Will definitely return for future family trips to Shaver Lake!

Not ideal, but good enough
Getting in was a problem. The key to the lockbox didn't work in the door, so we had to wait 30 minutes on hold before anyone picked up. The manager came with a spare key. All in all it took an hour and 15 minutes to get inside the house. Our biggest factors in a place are a/c, dishwasher, cleanliness, and comfortable beds. For the most part this location fit the bill. Most of the beds were comfortable, however, the downstairs bedroom's bed slats kept slipping off the frame causing the occupants to slide in to each other or slump down. Upon inspection, there is no box springs and the slats are not anchored down. The wood on one side was chipped off from previous occupants as well. The backyard was uninhabitable, so count on staying inside the entire time. We liked the location of the pizza place, but both nights it was a two hour wait and they stopped selling before we could order. The gas station was a plus because we could go in and get anything we needed quickly. Wake up time is very early since the gas station starts restocking and the movement is enough to wake up the house. Everything else about the cabin was great. We would stay here again over another cabin with no air conditioning. Hopefully the bed and the back patio will be updated by then.

Missing Amenities
Upon arrival to the cabin, problems with the rental were noticed right away. The pool table was missing pool table balls. I emailed the rental company immediately and did not receive a response. I called the next day to document the missing pool table balls and still nothing was done to fix the situation. The electric fire place was broken (making very loud noises when turned on), one of the doors to the outside would not open and still had painters tape on it from being “fixed”. A maintenance man came to fix the door by replacing the handle because the person who had originally repaired it did not do it properly. There was a water leak from the front yard faucet which would cause ice in the drive way. The same leak was reported last year when I stayed here and it was claimed to have been fixed. The driveway was not fully plowed so parking spaces were very tight.
Lastly, the beds are extremely uncomfortable and covered with plastic underneath the sheets.
While the location and size of the cabin is exceptional, the maintenance of the rental and quality of experience here is severely lacking. It’s extremely disappointing to pay for amenities that are not actually here.

Updated, well stocked, central location
Pros: The house is nicely updated inside. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, appliances and tools. Plenty of towels, fresh shampoos, soaps and conditioners. The location is VERY close to all the restaurants and stores in Shaver. Cons: The house shares the gas station parking lot and it was noisier than we expected. When the store is crowded overflow parking is the side of the house, (right in front of the kitchen window and a bedroom window). A lot of snowballs hit the side of the house from people playing in the parking lot. Loud. Every time. Also, The beds weren’t very comfortable- the flat sheets slip off in the night because the mattresses have plastic covering them. Need fitted sheets and more pillows. Pool table would have been fun, but no balls. Felt overpriced given the constant traffic and noise from the gas station.

Very Nice But Very over PRICED
Inside is Beautiful, out side kind of rough. Location is next to a gas station which is usually very busy hard to get in and out. Plus to it is walking distance to everything. If they will lower there rates I will rent it out for a month but not until then. I will not spend 11,000 for 28 days when I can rent cabins for a month 4,000 or less

Nice interior, very busy exterior
This house is perfect inside. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to cook and serve. The bathrooms are renovated and a very nice. This is a perfect ski cabin able to accommodate a large family. It was just two of us so the house was more than what we needed, although we were quite comfortable. The only negative is where it is located. It is on the main road sandwiched between a gas station/ grocery and a grocery and restaurant on the other side. It was busy and noisy. The good news is right across the street is The Trading Post restaurant which we ate at both nights. Great prime rib.
