Nestled in Steamboat Springs, this charming house for $403 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Chateau Belle is one of the most luxurious private homes we have in Steamboat Springs. The large wrap around deck off the main level has fantastic views of Emerald Mountain and South Routt County. Conveniently located just one mile from the ski area. This five bedroom home has plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax and appreciate the mountain lifestyle. As you pull into the neighborhood, you will notice this beautiful home nestled on the corner, with an outstanding exterior of stone, wood, and trees that create the perfect ambiance. Park in the spacious garage, where you will then enter the home's large tiled entryway, equipped with plenty of hooks for gear, and a log bench. This main level is home to a large full bathroom, the fourth and fifth bedrooms, and a wet bar. The fourth bedroom has a log bunk bed with twin over full beds, the wet bar has a mini fridge, sink, and microwave. The flat screen TV is perfect for movie nights, make popcorn, and enjoy the show. Complete with an armoire filled with games and puzzles. The fifth bedroom is just next to it with a twin over twin bunk bed and a twin over full bunk bed. Think about all the fun to be had for the kiddos in the group. The next level of this remarkable home away from home is where you will fall in love and never want to leave. From the amazing light color hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, rock surrounded wood burning fireplace, leather couches, floor to ceiling windows, and the extremely well stocked fully equipped kitchen, just to name a few. Speaking of the kitchen... Open, bright, wood cabinetry with light color granite counter tops, stainless appliances, two sinks, great windows overlooking the deck and the surrounding aspen trees in the yard. There are two ovens, a gas stove top with four burners and a griddle top, a convection microwave, even a wine fridge. There are more than enough dishes, glasses, mugs, baking pans, silverware and utensils to go around. Enjoy meals at the eight-person pub style wood dining table, under the large antler chandelier. Surrounded by windows to see the sunsets and watch the weather while eating wonderful home cooking. There are also four leather bar stools at the kitchen island. If grilling is your thing there is a gas grill and a charcoal grill at the top of the stairs just around the corner from the kitchen. This is the easiest way to access the backyard, and a magical stone pathway leading to a nice landing surrounded by trees. This level has the laundry room and a half bathroom. The main deck is right off of the dining and living rooms, it wraps around the front of the house with the views even better than inside the home. There are two leather couches right next to the beautiful fireplace, and a third one just past that with a flat screen TV, with Blu Ray player on the media cabinet. There is a bedroom with a Queen bed, huge walk-in closet, and full en-suite bathroom. Walk up the stairs to the top floor, the hallway overlooks the main level. Here you have the two master bedrooms. One has a king bed, his and hers side by side closets, a ceiling fan, full en-suite bathroom, with a glass-enclosed shower, large sitting tub with skylight, and a two sink vanity. The second master has a king bed, closet, ceiling fan, and full en-suite bathroom with glass enclosed shower. The property is perfect for a large group. The home is very spacious, well equipped and in a great location. We had everything we needed to have an amazing family weekend. Everything was really clean and the check in process was smooth.
There was a snow storm during our stay and the property was shoveled by the time we woke up.
Check out was a little early but otherwise everything else was amazing!

Ice machine does not work. Fridge downstairs does not work. Or we just didn’t figure out how to work.
No AC but kept windows open and that kept the house cool. Might be an issue for the hotter weekends tho. Neighbors where nice and have a cute brown dog that loved coming over to say hi. ER is just a couple blocks away. Walmart is 3 minutes away. Safeway is 5 minutes away. Downtown steamboat is 8 minutes away. Strawberry park hot springs is 23 minutes away.

We are a family of 14 who wanted a big comfortable house to stay together. The house could have been perfect - but our stay was plagued with serious problems, ranging from a broken dishwasher and ice machine to long outdated smoke detectors that went off in the middle of the night. Repeated calls to mgmt were unsuccessful in getting ANY of these issues fixed — although they did ultimately offer us decent compensation for our trouble. But we would have gladly paid the money for a problem-free stay! Please check that all of these issues have been resolved before renting. It could be a great place!

This home has great potential but it is need of some additional furnishings and maintenance. Though we had a wonderful time, there were a number of easily remedied issues that negatively impacted our experience. First, check-in was supposed to be at 4 p.m. but the cleaning crew was still there and we were not allowed access until after 5 p.m.
The main master bedroom is well furnished but the other king and the queen bedrooms had no furnishings other than the bed. A nightstand or two and a lamp would be helpful. The ceiling fan light in the king pointed upward and did not illuminate anything. The house sleeps 16 but there are only 7 dining chairs and 4 counter stools so we could not eat together. Kitchen wares were a bit skimpy too -- there were only 5 wine glasses and a few champaign glasses (unless you wanted plastic) and the plates were all chipped..
The wine fridge and basement fridge did not work at all, and the icemaker in the kitchen freezer did not work either. These are features we had planned to make heavy use of so we reported the issues on our 2nd day and were told that a work order was submitted but no one ever came to address it. The dishwasher did not clean dishes either unless you put it on heavy duty, extra, rinse, sanitize, etc. -- basically all the extra settings. Otherwise it didn't even clean the coffee out of the bottom of a coffee cup. The thermostat did not work either. The coat hook rack in the mudroom area angles down so coats fall off -- easy to fix but just indicative of the lack of attention to detail in this home.
I get that it snows a lot but the driveway was completely iced over making it treacherous to come and go, and it was impossible to use one bay of the garage due to the huge ice pile in front of it.
The furnishings in the living room are oddly arranged. There is a couch and love seat facing one another at the fireplace, but only a love seat facing the TV. As a family who loves sports, we wanted to watch football and basketball games together. In the area with the TV there is a giant bookcase that serves no purpose. If the TV were relocated to that wall it would allow you to have a full couch facing it, along with the existing love seat on the side and you could add another love seat or a couple chairs where the TV currently sits. Though we spent most of our time out of the house enjoying outdoor activities, it would have been nice to be able to relax together after dinner in the evening.

The house was perfect and close to the slopes. The shuttle was unfortunately closed so was more of a hassle to get to the resort, so double check that before booking. Otherwise was perfect. The great room was bright and open and was perfect for group dinners and game nights. Highly recommend!

Amazing Home. Close to resort!
Just an amazing home. Clean, comfortable -- very close to resort (it was easy to caravan our group to and from the resort). Tons of space for our 4 families and kids. Check-in with Retreatia was also seamless.

House is lovely overall. Pros: mtn home feel, beds comfortable enough, on -demand hot water, nice showers, plenty of towels, pod nespresso machine, rooms with individual thermostats. Cons: hot water is scalding so be careful, limited kitchen supplies for thanksgiving meal (ie no wisk, mixing bowls) tv with very few stations, cobwebs noted throughout higher ceiling areas, one bunk was very unstable, unclear recycling trash cans( this is colorado, right?)
