Situated in Blowing Rock, this attractive resort for $260 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Located at Pine #4 inside beautiful Chetola, this entire, beautifully-renovated condo comfortably sleeps three couples or up to 8 family members, all on one level with no stairs inside or out! Enjoy all the amenities of the spectacular Bob Timberlake Resort at Chetola, including a heated indoor pool, tennis, restaurant and lake. We are a one-minute walk from the pool, less than four miles to Appalachian Ski Mountain, and a short walk to downtown Blowing Rock. The home is on one-level with high ceilings, 4K smart TVs in every room plus 200 Mbps high-speed internet. Come enjoy our peacefully perfect mountain getaway! The elevation is 3600 feet so we have cool temperatures year-round. It features high ceilings and an open floor plan. This mountain getaway is all on one level, with no steps and easy parking. This rental is the entire condo, not a portion. Chetola is a Bob Timberlake resort in Blowing Rock Enjoy this beautiful, fully-furnished home and all the resort amenities, listed below! You will love this resort and this town, and I know you will want to return with your family again and again! The well-stocked kitchen has granite countertops, range, dishwasher, stainless fridge and freezer, microwave, and most everything you need to cook amazing meals for your family. The dining room table seats six, or retire to the living area to watch TV in front of a cozy fire. There is also seating on the outdoor patio that overlooks the main lodge. Our internet connection is very fast, with download speeds up to 200 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 20 Mbps. There is flat-screen, cable TV in the living room and in each of the three bedrooms. We provide regular ground coffee for the coffee maker, creamer, sugar, and a bowl of oatmeal / breakfast bars upon your arrival. Off the living area on the main level is the master with comfy king bed and private bath. There are two guest bedrooms, one with a king bed and another with a queen. The kitchen with its granite countertops has all the essentials for cooking and dining. For those looking for easy downtown access look no further. Chetola Resort is an 87 acre Bob Timberlake property just off Main Street. Chetola features hiking trails, ponds, a spa, an exceptional restaurant and lounge. We'll appointed, close to everything. 3rd bedroom could use an update. Great kitchen, baths and porch. Full size laundry machines were perfect. We had a marvelous time in this charming resort and town!

Chetola is a great resort with an ideal location near downtown Blowing Rock. This condo was perfect for our family to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday together. Plenty of room to spread out while also warm, cozy, and comfortable. Loved sitting out on the balcony, playing games by the fireplace, and especially loved the recliner!! 🤩We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!!

We love Chetola and its amenities, and staying together in this condo was our favorite stay. It worked as well for my elderly husband as a handicapped room, a big plus.
The living room Accent lights need an outlet and the Master commode needs to be replaced but otherwise, all was well. Want to sell?

The property was great!! Exactly as advertised. Comfy beds, cozy gas fireplace, well appointed kitchen. Spa onsite was delightful. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

This condo is a wonderful place for family and friends to gather or for a quiet get away. It’s beautiful and has everything you might need. It offered a gym and hot tub for the young couples and a playground for our granddaughter. We ate at the restaurant on site, Timberlakes and also cooked in the well stocked kitchen. I plan to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. We traveled with our 4 year old twins & 1 year old and it was great for our family. Condo was very clean and in a great location. Minutes from downtown area, fantastic park & very close to area attractions. Loved our stay.

My daughter & family arrived at 11:00 p.m. the first night. After a a long drive with young children only to find the unit had not been cleaned. The owner did respond immediately to our text message & delivered clean sheets and towels at 11:30 p.m., but it was into the middle of the next day before anyone cleaned. Turns out, the owner "didn't know his cleaning crew was on vacation," so he had to clean himself. He was nice, apologetic, & did refund one night. But overall, it wasn't what we expected from the description. Besides the obvious, the furniture is "well-worn." One chair in the living space has springs & cushion that are collapsed. Throw pillows are old and dirty. Under furniture and around appliances hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Porch furniture is low end and not enough for 6 guests. Beds are uncomfortable. In fact, the queen is so hard it is nearly impossible to sleep on it. There was NO toilet paper at all. That alone turned out to be a real problem. The bathroom sinks drain poorly. The ice maker dumps ice all over the floor each time the freezer is opened. Some plugs do not work, so we ended up with dead cell phones & cycling computers. Not sure if they rely on wall switches to work, but an owners instruction sheet for quirky things would be helpful.
How renters experience a stay in the property matters. I expect that owners of properties rarely if ever stay in their units, which means problems can go unchecked. We recommend a sleep over for a few nights to get the feel for what they are offering.
As for the resort (NOT John's fault), here's a must know. We chose Chetola because we believed it would be more fun for our family & grandsons than a hotel room or rental house. And basically it was, but Chetola promotes itself as a premier property. Not true. Nice pool & grateful. However, the playground is in dangerous disrepair. Children could be seriously injured due to rotten and broken equipment. Fishing in the lake is not what the website promises. If it has been stocked with trout as promised, those are long eaten by the "keep 3 rule." Why not catch & release only? There are limited kayaks & paddle boards, very worn, aging equipment. And they don't require life jackets. It took 3 weeks to book a guided fishing trip because no one returned our calls from Chetola or communicated with the Orvis folks.
Our first and most likely last stay at Chetola. Transparency matters.
