Unique hotel with the bar and music venue in the same building. Complimentary drink is a nice touch.
Surrounding area doesn't feel the safest but no fault of the hotel. Building is secure.

Room was nice, loved the balcony.
We knew the hotel was above a bar; however, the very heavy metal band that started at 10:00 made the whole room vibrate! Ear plugs helped.

The location was good, in that was close to the venue, the Hollywood Palladium, that we were going to that night. We were also able to walk to a restaurant for dinner.
The parking was a block away and across the street, which was inconvenient when you have roll-away luggage. Also, the record player in the bedroom was not functioning, which was a minor inconvenience. Finally, my partner could not get to sleep, even with hotel provided foam ear plugs, due to the pounding bass of the club music, which went on until 2 a.m.
