About this cottage rental
Located in Tybee Island, this attractive cottage for $245 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Location, location location!!! The boardwalk to the beach is about a minute walk. There is no busy intersection to cross to get to the water. This cottage is a short walk to popular restaurants such as the Sugar Shack, Agave Bar and Grill, Sundae Cafe and Highway 80 Deli. There are also surfing shops, convience stores and ATMs within walking distance. Built in 1920, this cottage is one story. Unloading belongings is a cinch with only three steps to get in the front door. This spacious 1800 square feet home exudes charm. The family room is uncrowded and can comfortably accommodate more than 10 people. Cable and wifi is included. There are 3 full size bedrooms. The queen bedroom has a master bathroom attached. There is a large closet and dresser. The king bedroom has ample room and a beautiful wood planked ceiling. The third bedroom has a full over full bunk bed and a twin trundle underneath, an excellent room for all the kids. The main bathroom has a bathtub and shower. There is also a half bath. The kitchen is open to the dining room. The dining room table can comfortably sit 10 guests. The charm of a 1950's kitchen is still there, but with all the modern conveniences. This cottage even has a separate laundry room with a full size Bosch washer and dryer with steam cycle. As if it couldn't get any better, there is a large, shaded fenced in backyard with a fireplace and gas grill. Great for kids and dogs.

We loved staying here and the close walk to the beach and to the lighthouse. We loved being able to enjoy our dogs coming with us. Working with the owner was amazing. We enjoyed the backyard and the fireplace in the fence in backyard was so relaxing. Highly recommend this home.

My husband and I rented for four weeks. Our first winter getaway as retirees. House is close to everything. We were able to walk to the theater, beach, a lovely park, ice cream shop and shopping. Only a short drive to Savanna sightseeing.The house needed many updates. Especially the kitchen. The floors have a laminate flooring that is impossible to clean. The coffee maker was broken but when I called the owners they were right on it. A new coffee pot was delivered within 12 hours which we we’re grateful for. It’s a great place for larger families with older kids.

Love the location - a short walk to the beach. The bunk room was perfect for kids and the games and other stuff there was great entertainment when we weren't at the beach

They were up to 8 of us staying at a time and there was plenty of room for everyone. There was some unseasonably cold weather during our stay and host was responsive to an issue that arose.. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cookware and utensils. Short walk to the beach. Everyone had a good time.

Clean home with plenty of room for the family! Everything was easy to the location of the home compared to shops and restaurants to walking to the beach a very short distance from the home.

The cottage was cute.. but dirty floors and windows. The amenities were awesome..but we shouldn't have had to clean the dishes and cookware before we used it. We definitely left it cleaner than we found it!! The backyard was not usable at all. There was still debris from Hurricane Ian all over. We couldn't even get to the burn pit to use it. We didn't pay all that money to clean up someone else's yard on vacation. The gas grill was nasty. Didn't look like it had been cleaned for quite some time. But we made the best of it and had a great time on Tybee Island.

The property is in an excellent location for bike rentals, 2 mins to the beach & exploring Tybee Island. Ppty had everything we needed. Enjoyed the stay!

Wonderful location everything you needed was there!! Walk around the corner to the beach took a couple of minutes. End of the beach near lighthouse no crowds, yet 10 plus minute drive took you to all the shops and restaurants. Thanks for a marvelous stay!!!

Comfortable overall...floors felt very gritty like they had not been swept or mopped. Kitchen cookware needs updated. Would recommend instructions on how tv remotes work. Very short walk indeed to the boardwalk to the beach.

Second time renter; we love the house and the location/proximity to the things we like to do and the property has all the accommodations we need. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for having us!

This house is cute and very spacious!
The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of clean towels and blankets.
They had everything we needed!
A few things we didn’t like:
while sitting in the living room we had a huge roach come out from under the couch that we had to kill. Maybe this is just a location thing because it’s at a beach? But we feel like an exterminator would maybe be a good idea.
The house seems to be falling apart, many “bandaids” have been slapped on the problems to cover up the issues.
The ceiling in the kitchen looks like it’s about to cave in.
Over all the house was dirty.
The floors had sand all over them upon arriving. The first night on the house everyone’s feet were black and had stuff all over the bottom.
Things we feel like we could over look because we had a good time on the beach but definitely things I feel like need changing. The house did its job but could definitely use a deep cleaning.

It is located on the north end of the island and is a quiet neighborhood. We had a great trip and would definitely stay again.

Spacious House
This house is great for a larger family with close access to the beach. Plenty of room for gathering and entertaining. The yard is a little overgrown so be prepared for the bugs. Many great amenities. Some interest craftsmanship in some of the rooms.

The house was perfect for my family. Had all needed (pots pans silverware etc.) Plenty of towels. We spent alot of time in dining area loved the huge table. House was extremely close to beach gas stations etc. Very nice stay n convenient to everything.

Beach Comfortable
Simple, Clean, & Roomy Beach Cottage for the family. The porch was great for our sandy swimsuits & towels. The outdoor hose helped get off the excess sand before going into the cottage. The kitchen was perfect! Comfortable beds! Roomy stay! Great location!

This beautiful beach bungalow is literally steps from the beach. It took us all of two minutes to get to the actual ocean. There are chairs and boogie boards, along with shovels and buckets for the kids. The back yard is super spacious and perfect for your puppies to explore and play. I recommend bug spray - this is the south and especially in the summer you’re probably going to get bit. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, and the grocery store (Tybee Island IGA) is literally right around the corner. Staff is super friendly and helpful, we recommend the crab dip. Whatever you do, don’t eat food from Quarter. We did NOT want to leave! We were SO comfortable, there were plenty of fresh towels, the sheets were clean, the house was clean, the living room is huge and we enjoyed several late night horror movies in luxury and comfort. 10/10 stars FULLY recommend. We fully intend to book this place again the next time we visit the island.
