Situated in Sawyer, this lovely house for $260 per night is a great choice for your next break. Newly renovated 3BR / 2 BA home located in Saywer, MI near Warren Dunes State Park and Greenbush Brewery! Sawyer is located halfway between New Buffalo and St. Joseph and is ideally situated for exploring all that SW Michigan has to offer. The cottage is located at the end of a private drive just off the Red Arrow highway. Lots of mature trees, large yard area and a huge deck make for the prefect place to relax outdoors. Brand new master bedroom with ensuite bathroom provides a relaxing retreat. The newly remodeled kitchen features light and bright finishes with a large dining area and direct access to the deck and outdoor dining area. Of the two additional bedrooms, one has a full size bed and the other includes two twin size beds. Full size washer/dryer, grill and fire pit are available for use. House also has central air! The house is kid and pet friendly with a selection of games, books and movies for your enjoyment on rainy days. Pets considered on a case by case basis and pet fee will apply. We are within walking distance of a wooded nature trail, walkable to Warren Dunes beach (1 mile from the house), and walking distance to a few nearby restaurant / cafe options. We know you'll enjoy a beach day at the dunes, relaxing in the yard, exploring the booming microbrewery / winery scene, or checking out the shops and restaurants in nearby towns.

This cottage was a real hidden gem. The house was beautifully decorated and clean as a whistle. One of the best places we have stayed at in the area. The fall colors were at peak during our trip and my family had an amazing weekend. The location was close to the Dunes and many great restaurants. Loved that we could bring our dog with us. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend and love to come back!

Love love love this place. Everything is very well thought out. The rooms are spacious and has everything u need. The house was equipped better than anywhere I’ve ever stayed and if u have any questions, they get back with u quickly. Enjoyed lounging in the living room on evening with my besties and making memories. Very warm and inviting. Walked the area in the mornings and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

The house was as advertised - updated and well equipped. The recent renovations were top notch. The house is set in a quite area close to the dunes and local breweries and vineyards. The checkin directions and the book in the house that explained how to use everything were very well done. The house was clean and fresh. This is coming from two engineers and a neat freak. The host was very responsive and pleasant. She checked in several times during the 11 days we were there. Finally, our young yellow lab loved the house, yard and area. We will be back!!!

We loved our stay at Ruby’s Retreat. Our family of five was very comfortable. We had a couple rainy days but we’re able to use the owners’ suggestions to find plenty to do. We loved being able to run, walk or drive to the beach. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and had a great aesthetic. Would definitely recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the house. It’s off the beaten path, but near everything. We had a few beach days of boat day in St Joe, and lots of exploring. The host had so many things for us to do in the home we played board games, read a couple books, did some drawings with the pencils that they had there. We enjoyed the patio and walks around the neighborhood with our dog. It was 4 of us, my husband, our 25 year old and our 13 year old. We loved it!

This house is a hidden gem in Sawyer, Michigan. It has all a family would need for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were roomy, the bathrooms modern and the kitchen bright and big. The owners were helpful and easy to get in contact with as needed. Would stay here again!

The cottage had everything we needed and the dogs loved the big yard and deck. Weather was great and the fall colors were perfect. The huge Pine trees on the lot, along the lane, and in this old neighborhood are amazing. Walked the Tower Hill Rd route twice with the dogs to Warren Dunes SP and the beach. Had a lot of fun exploring Sawyer and surrounding communities. Thanks again for being such good hosts.

Very clean and modern cottage that is at the end of a quite street. I normally over pack things just in case, but Heidi had everything you needed for your stay. Perfect getaway during these crazy times. Very thoughtful in providing our own personal pillow because of Covid and welcome goodie bag.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruby's Retreat. Perfect gateway from the fireworks mayhem that is the 4th of July week in Chicago. We enjoyed the backyard, the fantastic deck and the opportunity to grill out most evenings. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Thank you for the thoughtful and timely welcoming gift!

Heidi was so easy to communicate with, the property is modern inside and quiet and cozy outside. And it's a 2 minute drive to Greenbush and Warren Dunes Beach! It was just what the doctor ordered! Highly recommend.

Property was in a nice area, big lot, perfect for our dog, wooded, close to all attractions and really good restaurants up and down the Red Arrow Highway. Beds needs updating, an exterminator might help as well, as you had enter through a gauntlet of Daddy Long Leg spiders.

My family of four spent four nights and enjoyed every minute. The cottage is located in a wooded area with a huge yard that was great for the kids. Although located in a wooded area, once inside you’re transported to a modern home that’s nicely decorated with modern appliances and features, and very clean. It has all of the amenities you need, including a smart tv with Netflix that came in handy on our one rainy morning. Heidi provides a great list of things to do and we explored many of her suggestions. Many beaches are very close - our favorite was Warren Dunes. Highly recommend for a small family.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruby's Retreat

Cottage was clean with a nice updated kitchen and spacious deck and yard. We even saw some beautiful deer cross the backyard a few times. Smart TV and wifi came in handy when weather was not cooperative. Easy drive to the dunes and wineries around. Only minor drawback was that most of the side streets and roads were labeled as private property with menacing 'no trespassing' signs, which made it difficult to enjoy walking around the neighborhood. Of course this is not the owner's fault whatsoever, but it took a bit away from the experience. All in all a great place to stay!

My family had a wonderful time at this home. We had everything we needed and our dog enjoyed the yard. Our girls loved spending time outside on the porch and in the yard. The location is great. We spent time in Benton Harbor and Warren Dunes, both nearby. The neighborhood is nice to explore on foot too. All in all an excellent stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and nice. (Love the kitchen!) We have stayed at several places in the New Buffalo area and Ruby's was the best so far. Our dogs loved the yard and walks at the Warren Dunes. The list of things to do and restaurants was very helpful. Thank you!

We spent three nights at Ruby's Retreat with our 10 month old. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the deck and there is a large yard as well. Loved that we could walk to Warren Dunes and there is a lot of great stuff within a half hour drive. Recommended!

Very nice location and great house. Clean and kitchen and rooms are updated. Very close to the Warren dunes Park and you can walk there about a mile. Had a great time.
