The house is absolutely gorgeous, the lighting is perfect; there are so many little spots to sit and read or just hang out and unwind. There is nice coffee and a good selection of teas available to guests 24/7. There is also a very cool games room with a pool table, a virtual arcade, a pinball and some board games. There is parking available at the site (for a daily fee), but we found it quite easy to find parking on the street right outside the property for free.
Honestly I'm just sad we couldn't stay for longer. No notes.

The in-room shower and the bed were great. The garden was well maintained.We appreciated the historic nature of the property and the owners efforts to maintain and develop it. Resident cats and one big dog a plus for us.
Topography of the area is difficult for us who rely on walking and public transit. Breakfast would be about a half mile walk, so this really isn't a bed & breakfast per se. Tho we knew about the meal when we booked, having to go to a grocery store three quarters of a mile away to collect breakfast items made the reality a dissatisfier. Room did not have much natural light. Seating in the room was uncomfortable.
