Welcome to the Maryland Eastern Shore! Your home away from home is a room in a late Federal Telescopic Tidewater Style Bed & Breakfast called The Anchorage, circa 1800 facing the Choptank River. There are also 3 other rooms available at the B&B if traveling in groups or with family members. We are located right outside the historical town of Trappe very close to Easton, Oxford, Cambridge, and St. Michaels.

My husband and I stayed at The Anchorage for our anniversary. It was beautifully located on the river and very peaceful. When we wanted to go out, it was a quick drive to St. Michael's, Cambridge, and Oxford. The hosts were communicative and welcoming and the room with kitchen combo was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Great private room, just like a studio apartment with full kitchen (no dishwasher), bath and stack washer/dryer. Well made breakfasts, friendly and accommodating hosts. Central area to all our activities - feels like we went over that bridge 100 times lol. Would definitely stay in that room again. Thanks Michelle & Woody!
