A friend recommended this one bedroom condo and thought we would give it a try. The price was right and the location was what we were looking for. The unit had everything we needed, was well furnished, and convenient to the beach (1 block away), local dining (many choices within walking distance), food shopping, and the quaint downtown area (3 blocks away). The building is safe, secure, and "gated" - only registered guests can get in. We used their pool and grill and really enjoyed our week at the Waves.

Everything was as expected from the description and photos. The main bed was comfortable but loud with any movement. The Sandy beach condo stated they had pack n plays to rent when in fact they did not so that was stressful but all worked out. We would stay there again!

Definitely recommend!
This was the perfect size for my husband and I. Very close to the beach and in an overall good location! Everything was very clean when we arrived. Since we are not from the area, we really like the locked gate to get into the property.

Apartment is on the small side, but we were only two so it was enough for us. Supermarket a mile or so away. They had all you need for the beach and laundry machine inside the apartment. This one was rated high for cleanliness but the refrigerator handle was sticky, there were hairs in the tub and the outside of the toilet base had "evidence of use". The bed was awful, it made a sound every time we made the smallest move. We never felt unsafe, but the people occupying the neighboring units were who you would expect at a roadside motel. Living room furniture out on the walkway, kids in diapers running around... NOT the place to stay if you're used to a Marriott or Hilton.

5 star. Property Manager was very responsive and they allowed us early check in and late check out due to a flight delay. Pool was great, condo was super clean with all the modern amenities and it was close to beach and restaurants. We would definitely recommend to friends and family of all ages! Spring Break 2021
I loved how quiet this place was and I felt so safe there (especially since it was all girls in our group). I really was satisfied with how clean it was and there was supplies for the beach, kitchen utensils, etc. My only thing I would change is I wish we would've had at least 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 guests. But other than that I really enjoyed my stay! Will come again in the future:)

Great Condo in Great Location
This is my 2nd year staying for a month in Waves 16. It is comfortable, homey, and very well supplied with kitchen & beach items. The location is the best and is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, ice cream, shopping, bank, post office, & a delicious Italian bakery. Sandy Beach Vacation Rentals is very receptive to any needs.

Beautiful apartment with perfect location
I loved this apartment and will definitely be back. It was the perfect location, 5 minute walk to the beach and Gulf Blvd with a number of shops and restaurants. The unit was in excellent condition and was beautifully decorated. I was only there for 5 days but the in unit washer/dryer was great for longer stays. I also liked that beach chairs and umbrellas were included. The pool was very nice and well maintained. It was a very safe building with the key code on the main entry door, and I loved that the apartment also had a key code as opposed to carrying a key around.

St. Pete & The Wave 16 Perfect Together
First, kudos to Sandy Beach for a perfect experience! The Waves 16 had everything we needed. Well equipped unit with all the amenities ya\ou need. Super fast internet service and a smart HDTV great for streaming cable service had about 200 TV channels. Lots of close-by places for our evening entertainment, even during the COVID mess. Did I say everything is walkable? A great Gulf beach a few blocks away, and not crowded. The Waves 16 have all the beach implements, too (chairs, umbrella, mats, and a beach buggy to tote all the stuff - couldn't be better. We'll want to book this place on our next visit to Florida.

Vacation
We have been enjoying Waves #16 for several years, this year was very different due to the virus. We stayed together with the folks from units 15 and 17 we travelled down with them and enjoyed the time we had. The apartment is still very comfortable and nice and clean. My only mention is the bed it's very squeaky especially for a light sleeper. We have booked again for next year hoping everything will be back to normal.

Great 1 BR Condo in a Great Location
This is a wonderful property that is fully equipped with kitchen and beach items. The laundry in the unit was a super bonus feature because many units here and other properties don’t have a washer/dryer in the living space - only somewhere onsite. It is very clean although it could use a “deep” clean of artificial plants, baseboards, high areas. Although adequate, it could use some updating. I would return to this unit.

Love The Waves!
We completely enjoyed our stay at the Waves #16. Condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Nice view from unit, overlooking the courtyard and pool. Easy walk to Gulf, and the beach gear in the condo was most welcome. We tried a few of the restaurants that were just a few blocks away, and when we choose to eat in, the kitchen had all the accruement's needed. We have already planned a return visit to St. Pete, staying at #16 again.

Exceptional Stay
Spent a few weeks in St. Pete Beach and found this condo via a web search. The Waves #16 fit our needs perfectly, had everything we needed, and was close to the Gulf Beaches. The unit was well maintained, fully equipped kitchen, had beach chairs, umbrella, and even a buggy to tote our stuff to the beach. Couldn't ask for more. We will re-book this condo for a return trip in the near future. The rental company, Sandy Beach made sure we had everything we needed, and even followed up with us a few days after we checked in. They were fantastic!

Our vacation at this condo was excellent from the beginning to the end. The unit was very clean, had everything we needed, and well appointed. The location was just a short walk to the Gulf, and downtown St. Pete Beach with its quaint shops and restaurants. Sandy Beach handled all the details, all we needed to do was get the key and begin relaxing. The were fantastic! When it is time to go back to St. Pete Beach, we'll surely want to stay in the same place.

Very nice apartment. Great location
For the money, the experience was awesome. Laundry facilities were a big plus for an extended stay. Kitchen was surprisingly well equipped.
I am used to premium bedding from 5 star hotels and my own home. I found the pillows and bedding to be a little less than comfortable.
Also, as a media consumer from Malaysia I found the cable TV from Spectrum to be totally vacant of relevant news. Can't fault the property owner for American media, but too bad. . .
All-in-all one of the best vacations I have ever enjoyed.
