This direct water front home is set at the back side of Green Hill Pond with both pond and ocean views and access! Commanding views of Block Island and beautiful sights of small island land bodies throughout Green Hill Pond. From the master bedroom leave your double doors wide open as you sleep and hear the ocean surf while the brilliance of the moon reflects off the water and fills your room with a soft glow of light. 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms all have with amazing views. Crab, kayak or boat right off your own private dock. Feel free to use our double kayak and boat across the pond to “barrier beach” and enjoy the seclusion away from general public access. The Gatsby Cottage is directly in the middle of Green Hill Beach and Charlestown Beach, both 2 gorgeous beaches enjoyed by both adults, teenagers and children. House And Amenity Description: This unique, gorgeous, Great Gatsby Beach Cottage, was built in 2003 with nine-rooms, exquisitely furnished, offers 4 bedrooms all with decorative themes, 4 full bathrooms, large living and dining area, eat-in gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, oven, toaster, 2 TV’s, DVD player, CD player, stereo, cable and wireless internet and washer and dryer. Four private decks, 1 patio all with stunning views combined with a Crab, kayak or boat right off your own private dock. Feel free to use our double kayak and boat across the pond to “barrier beach” and enjoy the ultimate in beach privacy that are all part of this unique offering. Or Feel free to bike or jump in your car just 2 miles to pristine Green Hill or Charlestown Beach. Close to other beautiful beaches including Misquamicut, Watch Hill, East & West Beaches and more. Association parking, marina and boat launch at Ninigrit Pond. Attractions: Just minutes from great homemade ice cream, casual and fine dining, shopping, golfing, biking and hiking. Kids enjoy miniature golf, bumper cars, batting cages, go carts and bowling. Visit a fishing village in operation in Galilee where you can buy lobsters off the boats and enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the ocean. Block Island Ferry Point Judith (20 minutes). Spend the day exploring, shopping, biking or swimming. Historic Newport featuring fine beaches, sailing, shopping, cruises, waterfront restaurants and tours of magnificent mansions is just a 30 minute drive. Take the fast ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Drive 30 minutes to Providence to eat at world class restaurants on Federal Hill, visit Roger William’s Zoo, tour historic museums and homes on the East Side or take in a show in the theater district. Try your luck, shop, dine or take in a show at the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos just 25 min. away! Due to the unique nature of the property, references are required. We do have a strict policy of no family reunions or private parties. Total guests occupancy is no more than 8 on the property.

We had a wonderful time on Green Hill Pond. Kevin is very responsive. The home is exactly as described and pictured. It is a bit tricky to park at the beach hence the 4 stars for location but there many beach options nearby.

Four friends enjoyed a wonderful week in this well appointed home. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful time relaxing in the open space kitchen, dining, and living areas and the covered deck. Kayaking was a daily favorite. Easy trips to Newport, Narragansett, and Watch Hill kept us busy. Located near many local beaches and restaurants. Great home for rain or shine activities.

The deck (really more of an outdoor living and dining room) was the central gathering and relaxing spot during our week. Beautiful views at every time of day. Excellent kitchen for cooking and gathering. House was very generous and comfortable. We had a great week!

Lovely property with extra's where you want them. Multiple decks with spectacular views, bathroom in each bedrooms, a great kitchen that open to the large family room. Started the day with coffee watching the sunrise and ended it with wine watching the sun set.

A beautiful house with wonderful water views. Right on Green Hill Pond; plentiful and varied birdsong. We highly recommend renting a boat to access the private barrier beach on the ocean, a very brief ride straight across. Nice for kayaking-the house had four, singles and doubles. Owner's communication excellent. Currently, pond bacteria levels prohibit swimming. A great choice.

The house is beautiful with amazing views of the bay. The area is very pretty with lots of great restaurants within a short drive, and the nearby beach is absolutely beautiful. The house is cozy, well decorated and very well equipped with anything you might need for a comfortable stay. There are also kayaks for the whole family to enjoy. Communication was easy and check-in was super simple. We highly recommend it !!

We are from RI and absolutely loved our time at this house. My wife and I rented with two other couples and we all had plenty of space. Very clean and the location is perfect! I highly recommend renting a boat to access the beach. We look forward to renting again someday!

We rented this house for a week away with our family and our friends family. We all had a a fantastic week. Kevin’s information about the home and places to go or things to do were extremely helpful. Our families loved relaxing in the house on the deck each morning and late afternoon, taking a boat to the beach every day, shopping at the local market for dinner, and just enjoying the gorgeous lake views. Even our one rainy afternoon was nice because we so enjoyed being in the house. We explored the neighborhood, went on great bike rides, enjoyed the lake - kayaking, fishing and of course the beach! We all had a great time!

We had a fantastic weekend with old friends at this beautiful home. The house is lovely with a gorgeous deck right on the water where we spent a lot of our time and ate dinner each night. The layout of the house is perfect for couples and families, as there are four beautiful bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. We had a fabulous time and look forward to returning.

The house is as advertised with a great kitchen, nice finishes throughout and plenty of space indoors and out for relaxing and taking in the views. Location is awesome as the house sits on a fairly quiet pond, but the ocean is accessible by kayak or boat and the neighboring pond, which is easily accessible by boat (easy to rent), has more activity and opportunities for fishing, etc. Small grocery store, prepared food shop, bait shop, etc. nearby make for small-town feel, but enough access to anything needed for a stay.
We had a relaxing week of morning coffee on one of the two decks overlooking the pond, days of fishing/swimming/boating, and evenings of cocktails at sundown and grilling for dinner - a great place to get away and recharge.

We had a wonderful stay during our time at the Gatsby Beach Cottage. It's a beautiful, elegant house decorated to perfection. We had everything we needed during our stay and enjoyed being right on the pond. The owner was very responsive and left us with no unanswered questions. Many thanks for a great week!
