We loved our stay at Calle Ingeniero Canales N 14

Elena was waiting for us when we arrived. She showed us around, collected the 200 euros cash deposit and gave us the keys to the apartment. The apartment was just what we expected, everything was fine. The neighborhood felt safe and it was okay to move around alone even in the evening. There were lots of different kinds of shops, pharmacies, restaurants and cafes at a walking distance. Tram is a good way to get to know the surrounding areas! It was lovely to buy fresh supplies for the breakfasts from nearby grocery shops in the mornings, and eat breakfast sitting in the balcony. The beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at nights. In the mornings we could here the neighbors waking up. It felt cozy. When we were leaving, Elena came to check the apartment and to collect the keys. She gave us back the 200 euros deposit, no problem with that. Elena is a very sweet and helpful person! Norbert also seemed nice, even though we didn't meet him in person. We would love to come back some day. I hope it will be soon!

We enjoyed our stay - the apartment made us feel comfortable despite a few small inconveniences

The apartment is minimalist but very clean and well maintained, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. At first, the street with its older buildings didn’t inspire much confidence, but we quickly discovered that the neighborhood is actually quiet and peaceful. The only challenge was finding a parking spot nearby.

The bedrooms face inner courtyards and there was often a lot of noise from neighbors, which made it hard to sleep. When it rained at night, the sound through the open windows was quite loud, and the doors and windows creaked whenever opened or closed. Also, the shower cabin in the bathroom is extremely small — even for slim people like us it felt uncomfortable and impractical.

De airconditioning en plafondventilatoren in de slaapkamers.

De koelkastdeur sloot niet correct, wat resulteerde in onvoldoende koelprestaties. De douchecabine was beperkt in omvang en de toegang, met een maximale breedte van 40 cm, was niet geschikt voor personen met een grotere lichaamsbouw. Er was geen toiletrolhouder of toiletpapier aanwezig, en de toiletborstel verkeerde in een verouderde staat. Het ontbreken van een broodrooster werd als een gemis ervaren.
