Location was great—very close to train station and other attractions! Perfect for a budgeted stay in Florence. Staff was really nice and the room gets cleaned every other day.
There wasn’t any hand/dish soap and the water never got hot. If you can fare freezing cold showers then all will be fine.

Location was great, walking distance from train station, market and main attractions. Housekeeper Maya and Simon were very helpful.
The reception from Giuseppe was rather unfriendly. No elevator to 3rd floor room. Private but external bathroom. The locks on all doors were very noisy so we were woken up at night by latecomers.

The location was perfect! It's very close to nice trattorias, restaurants, and fornos for fresh local bakeries. There are also supermarkets in the area. The area is full of life and very safe!!! Walking distance to all the landmarks. The host on check-in was very nice (check-in is not in the same block but it's really close so no concerns there), no problems on arrival as I received detailed instructions in advance. The room was as expected for a crowded Italian city but the location exceeded my expectations!
I understand that windows with inner views may bring in bad smell from the enclosed spaces but mine couldn't open and instead had a circle hole with a plastic opening for fresh air. I stayed two nights so it was ok but if you plan a longer stay, it may be claustrophobic a bit, especially if you can't spend the whole day outside and want to rest in the afternoon. Also, be prepared for stairs with no lift, it's common in Florence and this place is no exception :)

The staff was very nice, even despite the language barrier. They answered all of our questions (with the help of Google translate!)
The bathroom was not the cleanest. Our room also wasn't cleaned before we got in (we did check in very early though, and it was cleaned during the day). It's also not handicap accessible at all
