The location was exactly what we needed, close to the train station for ease of arrival and departure. It was close to everything I wanted to see. There's also several food places right outside the building.
The rooms were nice and spacious. Fridge and microwave included, which I don't see often in European hotels.
The bed was comfortable, but a bit too soft for my tastes.
There's multi-sockets right beside the bed - so handy for charging phones!
The bathroom was nice and clean (with added slippers for after the shower), the shower pressure was good.
Bob's picture with the Pink Panther in the bedroom made me feel like I was being watched. I would have moved that to the hallway (not pictured, it was more of a jump scare when you turn around lol).
The key for the door was a bit hard to get in and out of the lock. You really have to take your time and figure out where it allows the movement of the key. It was frustrating upon arrival because we were tired from traveling.
The breakfast included was at a pastry shop down the street (while I did like the pastry shop, it was inconvenient a couple days we were in Florence).
The elevator was small, but that seems to be more part of the building than the fault of Bobotel.
The view outside our room was of the scaffolding, so unfortunately we didnt get to see much of what was outside.

Convenient to both train station and the Duomo. Lots of restaurants nearby.
This property is hard to describe. We thought it was a hotel when we first booked, then it changed its name twice before we got there, and found out it just rents rooms inside a building in a busy part of Florence. No lobby or staff. You need three keys to get into your room from outside. Communication with manager is strictly by text or phone who guides you through all the complexities. Parking is at a garage 10 minutes away. No way to unload luggage at the building. Design and artwork are ridiculous. Way overpriced!
